Bae Eun-mi hated sudden phone calls. In her experience, they didn't normally lead to anything good. And yet she couldn't ignore the sudden call to her office that morning.

"Hello, Judge Kang's personal assistant, Bae Eun-mi, is speaking. How may I help you?" Eun-mi greeted the caller with the copy-and-paste greeting she had memorized.

"Ms. Bae, it's me, Park Du-man of HMBN." Du-man

Eun-mi straightened her posture while sitting on her chair. She drummed her fingers that were currently resting against her desk and glanced over at her closed office door.

"Ah, Mr. Park. What a delightful surprise. I wasn't expecting a call from you." Eun-mi told the older man, forcing a smile on her face. "What can I help you with? Do you need a meeting with Judge Kang?"

"Ah, no. I'm sorry to call you so suddenly, but I'd like to meet with just you sometime. As a prominent shadow member of the Social Responsibility Foundation." Park Du-man explained it to her.

Eun-mi's forced smile twitched downward. She reached over to the number pad of her office phone, pressed the button to merge her call to Yo-han's office, and hoped that her boyfriend was relatively unoccupied.

"Ah, really? And you're sure that you wouldn't like Judge Kang or Judge Kim to come along as well?" She asked Du-man. "After all, all of my work happens behind the scenes. Judge Kang is the face of the show and the department after all."

"No, we'd like to meet with just you, Bae Eun-mi." Du-man clarified for her.

If he thought she missed how he used we instead of I, then he was wrong. She heard it clear as day and knew that nothing good could come out of this meeting. All she could do was agree, take down the time and location of when she was to meet him and whoever else was on the SRF, and then the call was finished. She was alone for a total of five seconds before Yo-han slowly swung open her door, a frown on his face.

"I'm not looking forward to that meeting either. And I'm pretty sure they're only coming after me as some kind of attack on you." She told Yo-han as she leaned back in her seat. "But I can't really avoid it; now can I, babe?"

"No, you can't. But that doesn't mean I can't help you to make sure you don't get blindsided in there." Yo-han told her, standing in the doorway to her office.
