"Jax I lost our baby girl." I held Tara as she sobbed in my arms and tears fell down my cheeks at the loss of our unborn child.

"I know." Tara gently pulled out of my grasp and the guilt at what Tiki had done struck me, I should have dealt with her and ran her out of the West Coast as soon as she was released, but my delusional feelings for a girl I had no contact with for over a decade had clouded my judgment.

"I'm sorry. I didn't think she would hurt anyone."

Tara visibly became distraught at the mention of Tiki. "I can't..." She began to sob before taking a deep breath and composing herself, I felt her body go rigid under my touch as she sighed.

"I can't deal with what she has been doing to me Jax, I can't have her here. You need to make her go."

I blinked the tears away as I shifted on my feet and thought about what Tara was asking me, I had to think about Abel. As I ran what Tara was saying through my mind I had to agree with her Tiki was a danger to my family.

"I know." Tara must have sensed my hesitation as she ruffled her hospital gown up and showed me the large purple bruise across her abdomen, where just a few hours ago my secondborn child was happily growing. My stomach flipped as I looked down at the mark and my anger raged as the weight of the loss squeezed my chest tighter with each passing second.

"She kicked me in the stomach what kind of sick person does that?" Tara's grief was now turning to anger. I still didn't have any idea what had caused Tiki's sudden change, she was threatening Tara from afar before today, and after being attacked and nearly raped herself it didn't make sense to me why she would choose this time to violently go after Tara.

"why?"

"She thinks I am trying to take you and Abel away from her. She's so violent and obsessed, it's as if she thinks you were both going to be waiting for her when she got out, She must have found out about us and went to Abel and filled his head with lies."

"What...She saw Abel!"

"Yes, He came to me today, screaming saying that you and I had been having an affair 10 years ago, and that our baby was a lie, and that she had given him proof. I tried to reason with him and make him understand that it was all lies, but he wouldn't listen, Jax. When he ran out of my office he said he was going to tell you and Gemma I had hurt him so that he could have his mom back."

Tara put a hand over her mouth and started to cry. I stood shocked that Abel would do something like that, but I knew that he only remembered his mother through the eyes of a four-year-old, and Tiki was not that woman if she could kick a pregnant woman in the stomach. Prison can change your very being if you spend long enough behind bars, I guessed that Tiki's sentences had changed her from the gentle soul I fell in love with as a teenager.

"I didn't know," I said still shocked at what had been happening.

"I don't tell you half of it, I don't ever want her near our family again!" Tara said with such protection and determination for our family I knew that I had to make sure that Tiki stayed well and truly away from us.
