Edit for July 3rd : So I have an injured thumb. It's not broken or anything; it's just got a pretty bad cut right now. Also, my general physical condition is kind of eh, so if I'm a little slow for this start to the month, that's why.

Kang Yo-han had always seen the Bae family as the closest thing to innocence as one could be in this world. The few times he ever spoke to either Bae mother or father were pleasant enough, with mama Bae always trying to fatten him up and the only Bae male just seemed pleased with having another male around to balance out the sea of femininity he found himself in. Bae Eun-chae was many of his firsts: first love, first friend, first hand hold, and the living proof that the innocent always fell victim to the powerful, who couldn't care less about them. And despite how much of a spoiled brat with an attention problem young Eun-mi was, Yo-han always thought that she was much too naive and pure for the world she was born into.
But now?
After hearing her ask him if she could come back to the manor for the night?
Yo-had no clue if it was safe to say yes or not. It reminded him too much of his womanizer days when the woman he needed to bed for blackmail or favors approached him first, but Eun-mi wasn't some pretty face or a body meant to entertain him that he would forget about the morning or hours after. His gut said yes, as he never thought she should have left in the first place, but his brain was sending him warning signals as if he were coming face-to-face with an oncoming train. Eun-mi continued to look at him with those pleading eyes, which only made him want to give him what she wanted even more.
Eun-mi suddenly let out a sigh and lightly shook her head.
"What am I asking? You probably think I'm being silly, don't you?" Eun-mi asked him with a small smile on her face. "Forget it. I'll just get my things, call K, and head home for the night. Don't forget to take your vitamins; there's a pre-made dinner I left in the fridge for you which you just need to heat up, and tell Elijah that—"
"Come home and tell her yourself. There's no reason for you to tell me all of this when you could just come home yourself and do it yourself." Yo-han said, cutting her off.
"By the time I get changed and we drive back up to the manor, it'll be too late to talk to her." Eun-mi countered.
"Who said anything about changing? The dress is fine, so what's there to change?" Yo-han asked her, not understanding her point.
"Fine? I look like I'm fresh out of my own engagement party."
"And? What's so wrong about that?"
"Yo-han, I don't know if you noticed but I don't have a ring on any of my fingers. I just have your very pretty and lovely bracelet to match your necklace; that also makes for a bracelet."
