Chapter 14: Gus and Hunter

Hunter pov:

Today, me and Gus are hanging out today, which caught me off guard when he asked, I thought it would be everyone coming, but he said it was just gonna be us, one on one time he said. He really wants to go to a convention that opens today, so that's what we're doing,

He's trying to meet an author who created his favorite book, I have no idea who it could be, but it does sound fun, never been to a convention before so I agreed to go with him, luz was super happy to hear that her two bestfriend were getting along so well, I couldn't lie, gus was my favorite out of all of luzs friends she introduced to me, not saying I don't like hanging out with willow or luz.......

acually cancel out luz, she can get annoying real quick, but also it's just, gus really understands me, also he doesn't judge me about my past or trys to get me to talk about my feelings, kinda getting tired hearing everyone tell me I can talk to them, or vent to them like who do they think I am, some pathetic kid who has trauma and can't control his emotions, and desperately wants to be accepted by his peers...... couldn't be me.

I was told to wait for him near the entrance of Hexside. He wanted to go after school ended, so we had enough time to see everything at the convention and get his stuff signed. As I waited, I just watched flap jack fly around, perching on tree branches, and Chirping, must be amazing to be a bird, free from responsibility and stress, just gets to fly, sleep, and eat, wish I was a bird,

suddenly I was broken from my trance when I heard the bell ring, finally, I've been waiting for half an hour, a bunch of students ran out the the school and while others walked like normal people, three of them who were walking acually came up to me,
" oooo, who are youu, you're a cutie," one of the girls said,
" yea, you're hot. Are you a new student, I wouldn't mind seeing you every day," another girl said, " ummm, no, sorry girls" I said, trying not to be rude, I didn't really know what else to say to them, before they could speak more, gus, luz, willow, and amity came walking up,
" Boscha, it would mean the world to me if you left our new friend alone" Willow said, walking up to her, " oh please, who would want to be friends with the weirdoes, he is obviously too cute for any of you people, so yall should be nice and let me take him off yalls hands" she said while rubbing my shoulder, obviously teasing me but I at the time had no idea what was happening, am I being sold?

" Trust me, no one would want to be given to you. They would rather kill themselves, so we're going to kindly take him so he doesn't do that." Willow said grabbing my hand and started walking off with me, dragging me with her, the rest followed suit, Boscha looked so mad, it looked like steam was coming out her ears, we all started to laugh, well everyone except me were laughing, I really didn't understand what that girl wanted with me,

" Oh my god guys, did you see her face? She looked like she was about to kill you willow," luz said while laughing, willow was chuckling, still surprised about her suden confidence she just had a few seconds ago, she would had never spoken to Boscha like that before but this time felt different, she wondered why but shook it off,

" So hunter, are you ready?" Gus asked excitedly about the convenshion. He was literally shaking from pure excitement,

" Yep, just waiting for you to lead the way, I don't know where the place is," I bluntly said,

" Wait, you two are hanging out?" Willow asked,

" yea, I would have invited you, but last time you came with me to this type of stuff, you literally fell asleep multiple times just in the lines" gus said while remenencing, " yea true, hope you have more fun than I did hunter" willow said while letting go of my hand, we said our goodbyes to the group and went our separate ways, me and gus were off, we were rushing to get there as fast as we could, we were almost there before a scout stopped us.
