Satoru was slightly aggravated and frustrated today. He went inside his office where he threw his body on the chair and caught his glabella in between his fingers.

He took out a bracelet from his pocket and his fingers worked to fix the broken part of the chain. He worked for half an hour on it but in the end, it only became worse.

No matter how much he tried, it only ended up
being worse. He slammed his desk enraged as he got up and walked away from his desk leaving the bracelet alone.

The bracelet was given by Y/n a long time ago when she received her first-ever payment. He was more than delighted to have it and now that she had left for 5 years, it was the hold thing he beheld in the remembrance of her.

He walked through the empty corridors to the office where Yaga had called him. He reached the room after a minute of walking. The room mainly contained monitors that scrutinized around the city regarding cursed spirits.

"You have to see this" Yaga stood in between the room with a serious aura and his hands folded. He pointed through his gaze toward a particular monitor which caused him to see someone familiar.

It was Y/n, wearing a hooded jacket and denim shorts with high-ankle shoes, sipping the black coffee in her hand. After a while of waiting she exchanged a piece of paper with someone suspectful and then removed the hood looking directly into the camera —as if she was challenging directly into Satoru's eyes.

She gave a smirk for a second and then winked waving her hand, disappearing her essence.

"We should kill her before she does something questionable" Satoru frowned at Yaga's words, clearly showing that he opposes that.

Satoru took his keys out of his pocket and then walked towards the door turning to answer.
"I will try to bring her back"

With this, he drove all the way to the location where she was and then to the secluded building where you walked previously. He tried to follow your cursed energy since he was really familiar with the scent but it was so faded that he could barely pick that up.

The building seemed abandoned a long time ago. He walked as his shoes crackled against the leftovers on the ground. His steps echoed the rough old walls and his desperate eyes tried to find her presence.

However, despite the effort, he couldn't find her, not even a glance as if she had evaporated in thin air.

Abruptly, Satoru's eyes fell on something kept on the ground. His gaze went from narrowed to round in a split second.

The broken chain he left on his desk in the office was lying here on the ground all fixed. He picked it up and wiped it a bit on his jacket before wearing it.

His head turned in even more desperation but he still couldn't find her.

Even though it was the month of March, he still felt a lot colder today —perhaps it was his internal disappointment and urge to be wrapped around her that made him cold.

He sighed letting go of his chest's heaviness and looked at the damped sky.

"You came solely to fix the bracelet"

"How unfair"

"Hey, old man? What happened to Y/n in your timeline? Did she come back?"

Gojo froze the moment he heard this question.
What could he have possibly answered? That he had killed you? He couldn't mess up for the other two who could see hope inside themselves.

"She is fine" He lied. "But hadn't come back yet"

"Then what the fuck were you doing all this time?!" Kid exclaimed.

"Hey brat" Gojo gave him a warning stare. "Mind your tongue, I won't repeat that for you again"

"I wouldn't ask for it, old man" The best rolled off his eyes.

Gojo looked at him with his folded arms closed to his chest. He was unsettled with the questions which he didn't intend to answer.
"I can still kill you off, I am stronger than you so be respectful"

"You bet not" The kid smirked. "Killing me means killing yourself too" He was sure Gojo wouldn't even dare to touch him.

"Does my face look like I care?" The Young version looked at Gojo's face obviously showing his coldness underneath, He swallowed audibly as he spoke no word and turned his head away. He felt keeping it down for a while was the only way safe for him.

Gojo looked at the ground. He was tensed and filled up with the thoughts of you, your last breath, and your last words.

You are the only person I have ever loved.

Your words kept repeating in his mind like a never-ending loop. He wondered why he had to be thrown back in the past precisely after he had to attack you. Possibly? It was like life was throwing other chances at him to get you back?
To bring you back secure to him?

It had to be it and even if that wasn't the reason, he would make it happen. He didn't care if he would return to the future or not but for now, saving you was his utmost priority.

"Guys" Gojo uttered looking at both of them
With hope gleaming in his pupils.

"Let's bring her back"
