A Memory of Two: Lost and Found

Furious

Sanem mumbles softly, "I had a weird dream."

Taehyung gently rubs her back and asks, "are you scared?"

Snuggling in his white tee Sanem replies, "not now."

Taehyung smiles softly and asks, "you wanna sleep more?"

Sanem doesn't reply. He asks again, "you need more rest?"

But she still doesn't reply. He peeks at her while taking his head backward a little and finds that she already asleep. He hold her back and sits quietly. It feels him like heaven to be with her. He inhales her fragrance which blows his mind. He doesn't move a bit in order to not disturb her sleep. 

After an hour, when Sanem wakes up, she found herself in Taehyung's arms. She parts herself a bit. Seeing her awake, Taehyung asks, "did you get enough sleep?"

Sanem looks at him with confusion. He captures the look on her face and chuckles softly, simultaneously tucking a hair behind her ear. He continues, "you sleep walked to me."

Taehyung tries to place some ease with his statement yet it does anything but that. She inspected her situation and her eyes went wide, lips parted slightly, cheeks turning a much darker shade of red and he probably notices it. When he sees her flustered face, he can't help but smirk. 

Sanem asks in lower voice, "how long have you been sitting like this?"

Taehyung - "umm... about an hour."

Sanem - "why didn't you wake me?"

"Because". He trails off with a lost look in his eyes, "I didn't want to disturb your sleep."

Sanem remains silent so he continues, "are you okay?"

She nods, turning back to face him only to see his face a few inches away from her. Genuine and firm. Taehyung's unflagging eyes remain connected with Sanem. She tries to distance herself from him and carefully stands on her feet beside him. 

Sanem - "sorry, I didn't realize that I came to you. It was not intentional."

Taehyung - "what do you mean that you came to me unintentionally? Were you expecting someone else?"

"whaa.... no! what are you saying?" Sanem fumbles in surprise.

Taehyung - "I didn't say anything. You said so."

Sanem - "don't interpret my words incorrectly."

Taehyung - "I am not."

He stood up from the couch and asks, "can we talk openly just for once?"

Sanem with furrow brows asks, "what do you want to know?"

Taehyung gives her a piercing glare and ask, "why?"

Both them connected their eyes for a while. Sanem gives him a perplexed stare. After a moment of pause, he continues, "why do you keep doing this to me?"

"What did I do?" she asks in confusion.

"Some times you make me feel special and the very next moment you betray me. Why? Why am I not enough for you? Why do you keep running from me? Do you hate me?" Taehyung asks firmly.

Sanem - "When did I say so?" 

"Your actions speak louder than your words. Tell me why do you always distance yourself from me?" Taehyung asks frustratingly.  

"I already told you that I need time." Sanem says stubbornly and tries to walk out.

Taehyung encloses his fingers around her wrist and yanks her around until she's facing him

"You're avoiding the question." He traps her between his arms and glares at her.

Sanem - "I have nothing to say."

Taehyung - "or maybe you have lot of things to say but you don't want to talk about it."

Sanem - "You can think so."

Taehyung - "don't avoid me and you can never. I will always be with you. I won't let you go."

Sanem - "I know. This is a life prison for me that's why I am caged here."

Taehyung asks in a raised voice "You think like that? Can't you see my love for you?"

Sanem replies in rude tone, "Is it love? Are you sure it is?"

Taehyung pouted innocently and asks "Why are you getting so rude to me?"

"Because you wanted to hear the truth. You want to know how I feel? So, listen... I feel trapped with you. I don't have anyone around. No friends, no relatives not even parents. All the people I am surrounded with are yours. Only yours. I don't know anyone. I don't feel loved and I don't have that feeling for you either. I have nowhere to go. You chose me because you desired for me but your presence in my life brings loneliness for me. I have no freedom. All I do is just stay in this big mansion of yours like a lifeless thing. Why should I believe you? You told me that you have known me from one year, if that's the case and  I was so in love with you, then why don't I have that feeling with me? Why do you look unfamiliar to me? And what happened that night? Where was I going without you? Why were you not there with me when I met an accident that night? What are you hiding?" Sanem says this all in one go. 

"Woah". Taehyung says in strained disbelief. 

"So you hate me this much?" he asks with his red watery eyes.

"No, I never said I hate you but now I can say that I don't love you. And in the first place, you tell me, why do you like me?"

"Like you?" Taehyung raised his brows and continues, "I crave for your presence. I could sit next to you and do nothing and I would still be the happiest person in this planet." He mumbles softly trying to choke himself from bursting in tears. 

He continues, "look at my eyes, I am full of you."

Sanem gives him a irritating stare and says, "please, I need some space. Please stop it."

And with this statement, she walked out. She goes in the bathroom and shatter onto the ground like pieces of glass. Her eyes reflected emptiness and she sits like that for half an hour. Then, she decided something. She quickly completed her morning routine and get ready. However, she doesn't find Taehyung anywhere in the house. 

When her maids asks where she would be going she just scolded them and made them shut. She managed to get out of the house and directly reached to Jungkook's home by taxi. 

She rings the doorbell. Jungkook himself goes to open the door and as soon as he opens the door she grabs him with his t-shirt and asks furiously, "Why?"
