I finished watching the second movie for my day

I finished watching the second movie for my day. In my defense my sleep schedule was entirely messed up. I had slept at 7pm last night and woken up at 6am. I checked the clock it was 11am. Why wasn't Azaan here yet? He usually came to visit me at either the start of his day which would be 10am in the morning or by the end of the night by 10pm. But he hadn't even visited last night and I wasn't supposed to make any calls.

But my wishes were heard as the door unlocked and I knew it was him. Azaan strolled in, "Dua we have to leave. Now."

"What? Why?" I questioned knowing what was to come.

"They have been following my car that's why I didn't visit you yesterday. But it's only a matter of time before they find you. So if they had reached here before me that would be a problem. Let's go. Leave everything as it is." Azaan urged me.

"They as in?" I asked.

"Both Saad and your family. They are determined to find you before tomorrow because apparently that bastard's family had printed the cards of your nikkah being tomorrow."

Seeing the seriousness in his face, I gave in without any question and was about to grab some snacks before we left but his voice stopped me. "Meri Jaan we aren't going on a picnic."

"Yes yes I know but what if we have to hide for days, I saw in my movie last night that the girl runs away and she then gets stuck because she has no food or money." I blabbered.

"Good for you that you have me then." Azaan said getting hold of my wrist and dragging me away with him.

We sat in his car and he started driving and immediately called someone, "What's the update?" I heard him say on the call.

I couldn't hear anything the other person said so I kept my eyes focused on scenery between us. Once again I was forced to run away from everything. How long was I going to keep running away from my family or that Saad? Why was everyone else around me getting the chance to dictate my life?

It had been two weeks since I had run away. I had enjoyed being away from my family for a change but I certainly did not enjoy all the worry I had definitely put them through. No matter how they were, they were still my family but I had also had enough, I wasn't going to force myself into something because of their so called reputation. I don't know where all the courage came to me. Maybe it was him- the way he truly made happy and helped me understand how my choices did have a value and most importantly that I matter. I wanted to enjoy his company without the fear of others. Why can't I have what I truly want?
