"It's like I can't fuckin get a break." Evelyn ranted to Christian as she broke apart of crab leg.
He sniffled, sighing deeply as he fed Albertoe a piece of his crab. "Yummy papi." Albertoe chirped. "More."
"It's okay baby, I'll give you more. Let papi eat, okay?" Evelyn told Albertoe. She removed the meat from the leg before shoving it into Albertoe's mouth. He nodded his head happily and Christian chuckled.
"Are you listening, Chris?" Evelyn asked and Christian shot up, nodding his head although he didn't hear her.
"Mhm... But she just so weird. Like do she want you or sum?"
Christian furrowed his eyebrows. "What you say?" He asked lowly, his throat still feeling slightly scratchy.
"The bitch talm bout you finna leave me. Like ho I know yo ass ain't fuckin talkin—
"Ight Evelyn." Christian chuckled, holding his hand up. It'd been a week since Evelyn fell out with Andrea and Christian was tired of hearing about it. "You talkin bout it not gon change shit. Just let tha shit go."
"Nigga." Evelyn scrunched her face up, looking at him up and down as he raised his eyebrows. "Ian ask you to act like you wise. Fuck up."
"Ima let shit slide cus you pissed off but you ain't pissed off cause of me." Christian chuckled. Evelyn's attitude was new. He liked it.
Usually she'd never talk about how she felt. Christian would have to force it out of her before she broke down in tears or blew up in anger.
"I am now. Like why you ain't just shut up?"
"Yea papi. Shuddup." Albertoe co signed, a piece of his chicken tender dangling out his mouth.
Christian laughed at him as Albertoe stuffed the rest of the tender in his mouth. "That wasn't nice, Bert." Christian said and Albertoe shrugged.
"Buh mami say shaddup. Mami is nice to daddy all da time."
"Mami isn't bein nice to me right now."
"Mami why you no nice to daddy?" Albertoe asked, a pout on his face and Evelyn's hard expression softened.
"Papi is bein mean to mami." Evelyn lied and Christian cut her a look. She shrugged, throwing her hands up in mock surrender.
"Ian bein mean to ha, she jus actin up cus she pissed off."
"I'm actin up? But when you wan go on a resort and you'n want Albertoe to come, who gon watch him? Hmm? Cause the girl who do fuckin weird." She ranted and Christian rolled his eyes.
