[Chosen sat on the grassy field, keeping guard as he pointed the gun at the non-existent intruder. Meanwhile, Blue and Second sat a few ways away, and their heads turned away from one another.]
[Second sat with a blank expression, his cheek in his palm as he set his elbow on his knee. Blue sat with one leg arched up, his arm wrapped over his knee to leave his hand hanging as his expression was irritated.]
Second: I'm sorry, Blue.
[Blue didn't react until seconds later as he turned his head a bit to give him a solid side eye.]
Second: I didn't know what else to do.....I didn't want to have to force you to do this, but you have got to understand that this isn't how you were.
[Blue's eyes narrowed sharply before he took a breath and looked at the cloudy sky. Hearing Second apologize was something he was used to. But strangely enough, he felt like he was just saying something to break the tension.]
Blue: Is that it?
[Second turned his head to him, his eyes showing visible confusion.]
Blue: You're apologizing.....because I'm not the same person you know? You get how stupid that sounds, right?
Second: You know that this isn't you. Being a coward and refusing to help isn't the Blue I know.
[Blue turned over, leaning closer to Second as his eyes shined with aggression. Second moved his head back, his eyes darting to the side and quickly back to Blue as he was confused about why he leaned in.]
Second: Uh- what's with the lean?
Blue: I'm still the same person....I'm just evolved. I know things now. And how am I a coward by not jumping into flames that I can't put out?
[Second took a moment to regain his posture as he sat up and gently pushed Blue's head back.]
Second: You were always brave back then. When Yellow was being drug by those Silver Snakes, you didn't dare to stay back and allow him to be dragged off. You ran after him. And you never once lowered your sword.
[Blue's eyes brightened at the mention of Yellow. The memories of Yellow replayed in his head like a movie before he caught his breath and turned away. Second noticed how quickly Blue got quiet and turned to glare at him. His eyes were slightly shaking as his frown was more apparent than before.]
[Second tilted his head]
Second: Do you think Yellow wants you to keep acting like this?
[Blue put a hand in front of Second's face, sighing.]
Blue: Don't....tempt me with our own friendship.
[Second hummed as Blue lowered his hand to set it back over his knee. Second thought for a moment before he reached into his inventory and pulled out something. Blue heard him shuffling and looked down at Second's hand.]
[Once Blue saw what he was holding, his eyes popped open. He was holding a box of netherwarts. Second glared at it for a moment as he remembered he even put Blue's name on the front. He thought now was the best time to give it to him as he slowly turned to him.]
[Blue looked baffled and surprised at the box as his eyes shuffled between him and the box.]
Blue: What's that...?
Second: Before we got here, I wanted to pack you a little gift. I was going to save it as a welcome back gift.....but.....I don't know. Now, it seems like a better time than that.
[Second handed the box to him as Blue once again glared between the two. He wasn't sure if Second was just trying to lure him or not by holding his favorite snack. His eyes narrowed as he slapped the box out of his hands, making the box roll onto the ground.]
