"Is everything alright Y/n?"

Wooseok's worry filled voice rings through the air but Y/n who was staring blankly outside the window not hearing what he just said. She had been like this since the moment coming here.

"Y/n!"

Calling out her name a bit loudly,she looks at him a bit frazzled by his loud voice all of a sudden. "Yeah?"he sighs,sliding his hand forward to put it above hers.

"Are you okay? Is something the matter? You've been thinking about something very intensely"

He sounded worried and he was worried. But Y/n,whose worry was Jungkook and his annoying arrogant personality,she wanted to end that guy. "I'm fine,just related to work wooseok. You don't need to worry"

They both exchange soft smiles,squeezing each other's hands. He had called her out on a lunch date wanting to meet her and she came out too since her head needed a little clearance.

"How have you been doing? Everything all good?"

She looked at him,so softly just loving this moment to be with him and ne free from all kind of nonsense. For some reasons,she didn't want to tell him abiut what Jungkook's been doing lately but hiding something so sensitive from him? She didn't feel right.

"Yup. The heads are quite satisfied with my decision of promoting you to Inspector vacancy and they're actually waiting for you to show some great results on Jaehan missing case"

Jaehan missing case is a big barrier for me.

"I went with Su-min the day Jungkook was arrested and investigated his house and places nearby but there are still no definite clues that were found. I'm kind of lost"

Wooseok glances at Y/n,wanting to give a suggestion.

"Why do I think that this case has something to do with Jeon Jungkook?"

Jungkook? How could he be affiliated with this case?

"Make it make sense Wooseok"

She needed more explanation on this statement,because maybe if he was right it could come out to be a jackpot for her in many ways.

"Some officials have told me that they've heard from somewhere that the day Jaehan went missing,he was seen in front of Jungkook's mansion"

Her ears perk up,since this was a very big piece of a puzzle in this case and could help her big times. If she could sneak into Jungkook's house and get behind this rumor,maybe there could be something useful?

"By the way,what's the news about Jeon Jungkook nowadays? He was granted bail so sudden"

Her mind gives her flashbacks on the morning after the night he was granted a shameless and proofless bail which was faker than the extensions the woman seated on the table beside her was wearing.
