Part 42 - DAY OUT Part 3

Everyone went to eat. Some had fish and chips and others had burgers and chips. Everyone was happy after a meal

''Now that we've eaten what shall we do next?'' Alan asked Sean

Sean looked at his watch ''I would really like to head back now'' he said

The boys were listening and they were all disappointed

''Please Sir now that we're here at least let us stay a while'' Jake asked ''Let us see a bit of the seaside''

''Ok since you asked so nicely'' Sean said ''2 hours then we're going back home ok''

''Thank you Sir!'' 

The boys were excited as they headed off to the beach

''Well i guess some of you will want to go on the rides on the pier'' Sean said

''Oh can we Sir? Ah cool!''

''Yes just try not to misbehave that is all'' Sean really wasn't happy about letting the boys have fun but he had decided to give in just this once to keep everyone happy. He knew that Sandra and Alan wanted to stay and have a bit of fun too so the only way to have any peace was to agree to it 

Back at the school the school day had ended and most of the boys had been sent home very tired and aching after a hard day of army exercises with Graham

Reece, Billy, Callum, Ben and some others had to stay behind as usual for detention. They were waiting in a corridor for Graham to arrive 

''Sucks that we're prefects now but still gotta do detention'' Callum said angrily

''Yeah man sucks big time'' Billy said ''I'm sick of detention now''

''How do you think i feel?'' a tired and bitter Reece said ''I've been doing damn detention for months since the second day Lewis was at the school. I really am very sick of it and it never ends. Being a prefect is good and everything but it doesn't really change how much my ''life on detention'' sucks''

''The other thing that pisses me off is that it seems that we won't even be going on any school trips or days out'' Callum said ''It seems like only those so called ''top 50'' will be taken on them'' 

''Yeah lucky Lou, Liam and Steve eh'' Billy said ''We'll have to ask them what it was like when they get back''

Graham was having a cup of coffee with Cynthia in the staff room before he went to supervise his boys on detention

''Well its been an extremely satisfying day today'' he told Cynthia happily ''I sent all the boys home with aches and pains from the exercises''

Cynthia smiled cheerfully ''Yes i saw and i approve! I will tell Sean everything you did, how great you were while left in charge, and he will approve too''

''The day still isn't over'' Graham said with a grin ''I can now torture my detention boys for 3 hours!''

They both laughed merrily

''Those poor boys'' Cynthia said while laughing ''I could almost feel sorry for them if they weren't such bad and wretched creatures. They deserve everything they get''

Graham looked at the clock on the wall

''I suppose i should go and deal with the detention boys'' he said at last ''They are waiting in the corridor''

''Sean and the others should be back from their trip soon'' Cynthia said

''Yes you know he only took them to the punishment museum right?'' Graham asked with a chuckle
