~CHAPTER 37~

We are here, at his own restaurant.

Yes may sarili na siyang restaurant pero ang main investor niya ay Daddy niya.

"Anong nangyari sayo Ethan? Yung mga sugat mo?" I asked with a worried tone.

Agad ko siyang chineck and halos lahat may sugat siya.

"Sandali lang kunin ko yung first aid sa kitchen mo." I run at the kitchen and get the kit.

When I come back, I saw his eyes spark.

May mga butil ng luha ang gustong lumabas. Ginamot ko lang siya ng tahimik.

"Are we just really friends?" he whispered.

I looked at him and his eyes was full of questions.

"Oo solid ka nga eh. Buti naging kaibigan kita." I chuckled and put the ointment at his jawline.

I saw his adams apple move, I just continue without minding it.

"Gaano mo siya kamahal?" he asked again.

"Mahal na mahal." sagot ko at tinitigan siya.

He gulped and just smile bitterly at me.

"Can we still pretend? I need your help, and I can make that with you." he plead.

Bakit parang ang layo ng pinanghuhugutan niya?

"Ethan... tigil na natin ito. Mas ayos pa tayo bilang magkaibigan." I begged at him.

"I really want, b-but I can't meet Asher anymore if my Dad knew we are done. He will married me off or sell me." his voice cracked.

"Ethan....ipaliwanag mo naman sa akin oh." hinawakan ko ang kamay niya at mahigpit naman niya itong hinawakan pabalik.

"Asher..." he stare at me blankly. "is not my brother." his eyes softened.

Ha? Di niya kapatid si Asher? Ampon ba si Asher? Ang gulo, di ko na alam anong pakikinggan ko.

"Anong di mo kapatid ang cute na yon?" I let go of my hand and roll my eyes.

"Kamukha mo nga eh, paano na di mo kapatid?" I asked.

"Azel..." he cried and fix his composure.

"That cute little boy is not my brother, but my son." he tilt his head and looked away.

Anak niya si Asher? Paanong nangyari?

"Remember, when you saw me in the ocean." I nodded and he smile. "I used to love someone before, but she died because of me." he explain while crying and remembering those day.

"Asher was only 1 year old, when we decided to have a trip..." his hand started to shake so I hold it. "We got in a very serious car accident, I survive... while she didn't. You know w-when I woke up, t-the doctor told me that she protected my son. She hugged my son." he sobbed and clench his fist.

So this is why, parang lagi siyang wala sa sarili niya.

"I need to protect my son." he firmly said.

Halos di pa din mag sink in sa utak ko ang sinabi ni Ethan. No one knows, that he already have a son.

Sobrang bata pa niya, kaya inalagaan ng magulang niya si Asher at pinagmukha siyang Kuya lamang nito.

But he deserve to be known as Asher real father.

"Uy bakit tulala ka na naman?" Trixie snap her finger in front of me.

"Wala... may iniisip lang." I said.
