Sorry for not updating for a while. I'm back and ready to finally wrap up Eun-mi's story and her love story with Yo-han 🩷🖤 (<= this is Eun-mi and Yo-han, canonically).

Eun-mi wasn't sure what to think. And neither did K, it seemed, although judging by his insistence on driving back to the manor and asking Yo-han to his face about his connection to Jung Joseph, the now-dead hired gun screamed that he wanted his alliance with Yo-han to still hold up true.
Although, would either of their alliances really change if it were proven true that Yo-han had a hand in Su-hyeon's death? Most likely not.
But it was his possible business with Jung Joseph and this allusive recording of the church fire that took Yo-han's brother and sister-in-law, aka Elijah's parents, away and their money nearly taken to be misused by the SRF. After all, he didn't tell either of them about it, and ergo, he left them scrambling all day to follow the trial, which didn't paint their boss/friend/lover in a very positive light. But that's why they had to ask Yo-han, as they were one of the very few people on the planet who knew when Yo-han was lying or not.
And yet;
"I'm not sure about this. Yo-han doesn't do anything without purpose and surely he would have told us about this." Eun-mi admitted to K as they walked up to Kang manor.
"I don't want to believe it either but that's why we have to ask. We all need to be on the same page in order to work together efficiently. If this is just business he handled before we joined his crusade, then that's what it is, but if it's something more, we need to know for our own knowledge and safety." K told her in a firm manner.
He was sure that there had to be an explanation for all of this. He was more inclined to believe that this was more of the SRF's tricks than some deep, dark secret that Yo-han would be angered by them knowing. But then again, Su-hyeon and Jung Joseph could have had evidence against Yo-han to take him down for good, which is why he could have hired a gun to kill Su-hyeon and take the footage for himself. But that's why they needed the clarification to better understand what was going on.
"I just don't see how or why he would have kept this from us. You especially considering you do more of the manual labor then me." Eun-mi said with a small frown on her face.
"Me? I'm not the one he wants to marry, am I?" K asked her in a teasing manner.
"K, seriously. I don't feel good about doubting him or asking him about this." Eun-mi retorted at the same time as a crack of thunder echoed throughout the relatively empty area. "Oh great. Did the news say anything about a storm happening tonight?"
"No, but we're already at the manor. Don't worry, your precious shoes won't get ruined. Come on, it's just a question and nothing more." K told her in a reassuring tone.
He walked past her to the front door of the manor, opened the door, and held it open for her. She nodded at him as she crossed the threshold of the outside and into the familiar interior of the Kang manor.
