TEMPEST

The echoes of our footsteps reverberated softly as Gabby, Gia, Sapphire, and I strolled down the elongated corridor of the main building, heading towards the gym that has become a cherished sanctuary for me. It has been a place where I can unravel the tangled web of emotions – the stress, frustration, and irritation – that have been coursing through me since arriving at this estate, especially following the recent weekend Horse Race Tournament show.

Vincenzo's words have been incessantly gnawing at me, compelling me to search for answers that might hint at any prior encounter with that man. Yet, my efforts have only yielded more stress. Sunday, being a rest day, was spent sleeping, utterly drained from the exhaustive events of Saturday.

Now, as a new week begins, marking the final stretch of the month of March, time seems to have simultaneously flown by and crawled at an agonizing pace, encompassing me in its relentless sway. I long for this chapter to conclude, eager to put behind not only the month but also the horse race show that has weighed heavily on my body.

Watching Gia and Gabby gracefully swung open the clear glass double doors to the gym, the beauty of the space unfolded before our eyes, welcoming us as Sapphire and I followed in behind them. "The second best way to start the day after breakfast!" Gia exclaimed joyfully as we stepped fully into the gym, the automatic lights flickering to life and illuminating the space. "Oh, how I have missed this," Gia added wistfully.

My eyes glaring over the gym, surrounded by gray, white, and black hues that matched the main building's theme. The walls adorned with sleek gray marble concrete, creating a sophisticated and serene atmosphere throughout the entire gym.

The expansive space is thoughtfully designed, with each piece of exercise equipment strategically placed in its own dedicated area. Additionally, there's a yoga studio and a well-appointed locker room complete with luxurious showers and fresh towels that are washed and replaced daily.

Inhaling deeply taking in the tranquility of the gym filling me with anticipation for the rejuvenating session ahead. "Honestly, after this past weekend, so have I." I expressed agreeing with Gia's comment as I make my way over to the stretching area of the gym beginning to prep my body for a thorough stretching session to release the tension and stress accumulated in me. Staring at my reflection in the full body mirrors that were placed stretched out against the wall.

From the mirror's reflection, I watch Sapphire walk over towards me "Honestly same, because the Vixen's club have been extremely packed lately so I'm guessing the Horse tournament has been going extremely well given that every weekend has  been forcing me to put in more energy then I have been having to do in a while." she mentioned as she positioned herself next to me, beginning to stretch.

I lightly scoff at her "You should be use to it by now,  I'm surprised you're complaining." I commented as I begin to do some upper body stretches. Sapphire softly laughed," It doesn't matter how long I've been doing it, it has not become easy on my body, believe me. But you didn't answer my question? The horse tournaments been going good?" she asked raising a curious brow.

Subtly rolling my eyes at the thought of the event, "I mean, technically you answered it yourself when you said that the Vixen's club has been packed, what do you think?" I asked rhetorically, trying to suppress a smirk.

Sapphire let out a scoff in response to my comment. "Okay, well, a more specific question then. Have you been enjoying the horse race tournament?" she asked with a mischievous smirk, clearly trying to get a specific answer out of me.

Glancing at Gia and Gabby through the reflection of the mirror, who were engaged in their own conversation not far from us, I turned my attention back to Sapphire. I shook my head and mouthed the word "no" in response, eliciting a light laugh from her.
