Evelyn wouldn't lie and say the situation was out of her mind completely, but she was definitely not hung on it.
A new house, plus her and Christian were closer than ever. He was helping around the house, cooking, cleaning. Suddenly all the responsiblity was transferred on him.
Evelyn wasn't complaining. She loved it. Her days consisted of going to school then coming back home to a steaming plate of food and a clean house.
She pulled on a clean pair of underwear and a bra as she left the bathroom. She began to apply the EOS Vanilla Cashmere lotion all over.
She was excited for dinner today though. He made shrimp alfredo, broccoli, and garlic bread.
She was so grateful for the sudden shift, she hadn't asked Christian about the woman yet. She didn't want to come at him rude though.
She just was going to simply ask if he knew who that woman was. It was a yes or no question, and whatever the answer was, Evelyn promised herself not to get mad.
Everybody had a past, including her. And if it was his baby momma, Evelyn wanted to see if she was okay with telling him what she went through with Malikai.
It was time anyways. There were nearing their 2 year mark and he had just bought a house.
It wasn't as big as the mansion they just left. She couldn't believe it when Christian had showed her the suburban house. She knew how much he loved to flaunt his wealth.
She had a feeling it had hurt him a little to move to the smaller house, but she loved it.
It was a 5 bedroom and 4 bathroom house—which was still huge. An attic, a 4 car garage, even a winery.
Christian sure knew how to pick them.
She heard a bark and turned around, jumping in shock. She saw their dog, Perry. Christian had named him Perry for some reason, just like the Platypus.
