The thing about fainting, passing out or whatever you want to call that momentary state where your body shuts completely off, is that it's a little bit like teleporting.
One instant, you can be in the queen's royal quarters, clenching your temples from a blinding headache, and the other be in a room you don't even recognise.
Your eyes discreetly flit open to observe the surroundings. Warm tones melted into your vision, slowly hitting it with their familiarity.
The Asgard infirmary.
A curly headed woman peaked up at you, blocking the stream of light overhead with her large pearly smile. "Hey badass.", she greeted with a grin.
You chuckled breathily, carefully trying to sit upright in the soft sheets tucked over your body. From the latticed windows, little diamonds sparkled in the night sky, trailing in coloured clouds hueing from purple to dark green.
Oh, to live in Asgard every day.
"Hannah... How are you?"
She was sitting in a wooden chair nearby, cradling a battered beige notebook in the crook of her thighs. Like last time, her eyes sparkled with joy and curiosity, contrasting with the heavy and coarse material of her garnments, indicating her rank. However, the way she held herself did show she did not consider her worth from the work she did.
"I'm fine, but the real question is you."
"Eh, could be worse.", you shrugged, glancing around. After taking it slow at first, your vision was quite cleared and no longer did your head lull from movement.
"Glad to see you again. Odin seemed to have calmed down, I'm impressed."
"Don't be. I've heard enough bad things about him from Loki, so it was bound to happen."
"Warrior through and through.", she breathed out with a small, distant smile. Her gaze had misted over to the windows, looking at something nobody could.
You frowned quickly, feeling a little pain in the cranium from doing so, "What do you mean?"
"Oh nothing, don't worry."
"Huh."
Hannah stood up decidedly, snapping the notebook shut and said, "You're still woozy, you should sleep it off."
"Mkay.", you mumbled, realising just now that suddenly another wave of fatigue was flowing down over you.

When you woke up once more present were Loki, Thor and Frigga.
"Is she alright?", Loki asked, leaning towards you and using his magic to check. Frigga slapped his hand and ordered for him to cut it out.
"For the thousandth time, Loki, yes!", she sighed, smiling pleasantly at you.
"Are you absolutely sure?"
You assured, "Loki, everything is fine. I'm just a little tired."
However, his gaze narrowed and turned suspicious as he examined all the surroundings. You knew that look.
"No, it isn't. There's something."
Thor drawled, "It's called loooooove, and that's normal. Loki is in loove! Loki and Y/n sitting in a tree-" , he nudged his brother.
"Shut up.", Loki hissed, sending a dagger into Thor's side. The god of thunder groaned in pain as crimson seeped through the fabric of his clothes. Frigga gently facepalmed, sighing loudly. She healed Thor while glaring at an overly smug Loki who ran his thumb across your warm knuckles.
