Prafull laughed and said, "Your ears are working just fine. I did call you my son-in-law."

"What do you mean? Does that mean you agree with my relationship with Shivika?" Hardik wanted to confirm once more, and Prafull nodded his head.

Hearing this, Hardik happily hugged him and said, "Thank you! Thank you so much, Uncle."

Prafull laughed and patted his shoulder. Hardik, stepping back, said, "Uncle, don't tell Shivika."

"Alright. Now have some tea," Prafull said, pointing towards the tea, and then, looking at it, added, "It's completely cold now. Wait, I'll get it made properly for you."

"No, no, Uncle, I'll drink this. It's the first tea from my in-laws' house," Hardik quickly picked up the cup and started drinking. Prafull, laughing, just shook his head while watching him.

Shergill Mansion_

The atmosphere here was a bit serious because Bharti's father, Bharti, Ruhi, and Abhinav were present. Abhinav look at everyone and then, bowing his head, said to Shivika and Shivaay, "You all know what happened, so I'm sorry, Shivika, but I can't marry you."

Just then, Shivika's phone rang. She saw that Prafull was video calling. She answered the call.

As soon as she picked up the call, Prafull said, " have they all arrived?"

Bharti had informed Prafull that she was going to Shergill Mansion.

Bharti took the phone from Shivika's hand and looked at Prafull, saying, "I'm sorry, Bhai sahab. I had no idea what was happening in their lives. I didn't even know about Shweta, and suddenly, all this came to light."

Prafull replied, "It's okay. Life is like that. You never know what will happen, when, or how. If their relationship wasn't meant to be, then there's nothing to be done."

Hearing his words and seeing his smiling face, Bharti, her father, and Abhinav all felt relieved. The best thing about Prafull was that he always took everything positively.

Prafull smiled at Bharti's words. Just then, Dada Ji called Bharti, and she went to him. Dada Ji took the phone from her hand, looked at Prafull, and said with a smile, "You're absolutely right, son. What's not written in fate doesn't happen. And don't worry about Shivika, we'll take care of everything."

"I know that, which is why my daughter spends more time with you all than with me."

Prafull's words made Shivika smile and lower her head. Bharti held her hand, placed it on her head, and said, "I wanted you to be my daughter-in-law, but can you became like my daughter."

With emotion, Shivika replied, "Aunty, I am just like your daughter." Then she touched Bharti's feet to seek her blessings. Bharti said, "You'll find a very good man, Shivika. The one who marries you will be very lucky."

Listening to her, Shivika just smiled and thought to herself, "Lucky, yes, Hardik is lucky, but where is he?" As she thought this, her eyes drifted toward the door, and Anokhi began to smile seeing this.
