Chapter 36

Mallory's POV

"Mal, wake up!!" I heard a little voice say

I opened my eyes and sure enough Hannah was on top of me poking my cheeks to wake me up. I was sweating and I looked around to make sure I was, where I thought it was. I was in my room.

"Hannah ?" I asked in disbelief

I sat up and hugged her tightly.

"You're crushing me" she said and I laughed and let go

"Where's David? And Conor ? And Sarah? And the rest of the guys ?" I asked

"Downstairs. They told me to wake you up" she said and I hopped out of bed and sprinted downstairs. When I said everyone, I burst into tears and of course, David rushed to my side.

"What's wrong ??" He asked in a panic.

"I thought I was never going to see you guys again" I said between my tears.

Everyone looked at me confused and Dad came over to me and engulfed me in a hug.

"Never" he said "why would you think that?" He asked

"Because- never mind" I said not wanting to ruin the moment.

Sarah made pancakes, but Conor said he did which no one believed. Hannah was sitting next to me and David on the other side. I felt so happy to be here. After breakfast, we all put our dishes into the dishwasher and I grabbed Hannah's plate, but she insisted on doing it herself because 'she's a big girl' now.

I went into the living room where everyone was watching tv and I stood in front of it.

"We should do something. We never hung out in a long time with all of us together" I said

Everyone happily agreed and all went up to our rooms to get ready. Me and Hannah were in my bathroom brushing our teeth, while David changed in my bedroom. Then we switched off. I put my hair up in a high ponytail with some strands let loose around my face to give my hairdo a nicer and more of an edgy look. Then I went to my closet and got Hannah some shorts and a cute flows tank top that had a bow on the straps. For my outfit, I took some black flowy shorts with a white t shirt that had black striped all over tucked in. For my feet, I was planning on wearing black lace wedge boots. As for Hannah, she was gonna wear her brown flat boots.

David came out and he had on a tank top and some khaki boy shorts. He slipped on his black and gray vans and me and Hannah put on our shoes. I quickly ran to the bathroom and applies BB cream to hide the redness in my cheeks from my blemishes and I applied some mascara. Forget the eyeliner today, too much work to make the wings even.

I headed out and met everyone downstairs. We were just waiting on dad, Sarah, and Jc.

"Hurry up!" I yelled

Dad and Sarah came down, so we were just waiting for Ricky.

"Ricky!" I yelled and heard footsteps coming down.

"Sorry, it takes time for this amazing hair" he said

I laughed and we were out.

We all went to lunch at Dive In. (Made it up) it's a Buffett place where you can just, well, Dive in.

After lunch, we all went to the arcade and played a bunch of games. I challenged David to racing and I won twice, while he won only once.

We finally left after an hour and decided to go to the pier. We left all of our shoes inside so it wouldn't get sandy. We all walked to the end of the pier taking pictures and selfies and it was just great. It was super hot today so we decided to just walk in the water because with this heat, it would dry us in a minute. We walked down go the water and I stepped in and enjoyed the coolness and I heard my name behind me so u turned around. It was David. He bent down and scooped a handful of water and my eyes widened at what he was gonna do. I screamed playfully, turning hoping he would miss, but he got me directly in the face.
