Okay. So this was requested by @atslviv so I hope you enjoy! I'm sorry if it sucks, it's my first time writing Branara and I don't know Kara that well but whatev. I know she's a gorgeous little bunny, and I can work with that. Enjoy my second straight ship? I think so. Unless you count Meguck as straight since the truck had a guy's name. Oh god, the nostalgia XD. Okie, Imma stop now and start writing. Enjoy!!

Pete sat on top of his hill, swinging his feet of the small ledge. His parents wanted him to meet a family friend and their daughter, and he was reluctant to. He'd escaped up here when they first arrived. It'd be a while before they noticed his disappearance. He heard a leaf crunch behind him and someone scoff at themself for making noise. Pete sighed and just kept swinging his feet. His slime feet would get stuck every once in a while, an. It was one of those times that he noticed a pair of feet beside his. He looked up cautiously to see a beautiful girl with brownish hair and snow-white ears poking through. She was staring off into the setting sun. Her brown eyes reflected the sun and it made Pete smile. Her eyes seemed to glimmer and her ears were twitching every time he'd shift the tiniest bit.
"Hi." He spoke softly, not wanting to scare her. She glanced over and smiled.
"Hi. I'm Kara." She said, moving some hair to behind her ear so she could hear him better.
"The name's Pete." The slime replied before glancing back towards his house.
"Ah, you're the "family friend's son". My mom didn't stop talking about you. Every few sentences the past week was something about you." Kara said, rolling her eyes as she explained her mother's behavior.
"And you're the "family friend's daughter". My mom was probably just as annoying, I just hide out here most the time." Pete explained as he looked towards the sun again. It was another five minutes until the sunset would be at its best. "Speaking of mothers, do they know we're out here?"
"Probably not. They are terrible at paying attention." Kara said and Pete chuckled.
"It's so true though. I've spent whole nights out here and the only reason she notices I'm not there is because I didn't do my chores yet." Pete complained.
"Same though. It's just like, what do you expect? I'm a teenager, I could be more rebellious if you'd like." Pete agreed to what Kara said and finally took in her clothing. She wore a light blue dress and black sweater over the spaghetti straps. Her shoes were on the hill behind them, probably heels but he didn't bother checking.
"You look nice today." Pete complimented after a few moments of silence.
"Says the one in a suit." Kara pointed out. Pete glanced down at his attire and chuckled.
"I always wear suits. It's my thing." Pete replied as he played with a sleeve.
"Well, it's a good thing. You look great in them." Kara said before glancing behind them. "My mom made me wear this. I just wanted to wear skinny jeans, some t-shirt, and sneakers. But no. "You've gotta make a good impression". Like high heels will accomplish anything except making me trip." Kara whined. Pete chuckled.
"I always wondered how girls walked in those things. Is it even physically possible to put all your weight onto little sticks?" Pete said, signaling to the heels behind them.
"I don't know. But they require balance and not to be a klutz. Both of which I've failed at." Kara replied. Pete began to laugh as Kara did, the two enjoying themselves. Pete glanced up and saw the sun setting into the perfect spot it'd reach every night.
"If you look now, you'll see the magic of perfect timing." Kara looked up and gasped at the sight. All the water turned a golden color and the trees were a blend of reds and yellows and purples. The sun itself was leaving an orange glow around a farther mountain, allowing shadows of orange to dance around them.
"That's beautiful." Kara said in amazement.
"Not as beautiful as you." Pete mumbled, more to himself.
"No, it's probably more beautiful than me. I'm not all that great." Kara said, running a hand over her bent ear. It got crushed as a child, and so was permanently bent at an awkward angle.
"Not by any chance. You're much more gorgeous, and rare. That happens every night, and will happen every night. It won't change, but you will, everyday, and I'd love to watch you change." Pete said, still slightly blushing. He was staring at her as she turned towards him.
"Oh really Peter?" Kara asked. Pete hummed back as he stared into her eyes. "Prove it." She said with a smirk. Pete chuckled and went to give her a kiss but a voice interrupted.
"Peter! Kara! You can't hide forever!" One of their mother's yelled.
"If I have you, then I could hide forever." Pete whispered to Kara. She giggled but it was cut off by their lips matching. Little did they know, that many years later, they'd be married on that very hill, and build a house, and have kids, and grow old together. And all the while, they'd spend every night watching for that perfect moment when the water would turn gold, and every time Pete would remind Kara that she still changed every night, and that the sunset would stay the same for centuries.

I'd say this is pretty good for being clueless. I hope you enjoyed, because I did :D. I'm done being a stupid little idiot. TWO POSTS IN ONE NIGHT! WHAT?!?! Anyway. Expect a Poofless and that NoochZahHutt by some time next week. I'm going to my grandmother's so updates will be slow for the first bit and then they'll be more common. Perhaps I'll even get back into No Name's. Who knows, nobody knows. Now I just need to find a nobody. Oh wait, I'm a nobody. But I don't know. Just- ignore me. It's getting late and I haven't been sleep so, Imma try to sleep. I love you all, never forget that. Until next time, Peace my cheeses!
