Chapter 22

 [Y/A/N] sighed and followed Sorreltail into the forest. Berrypaw slowed down to walk beside her. "You okay?" She asked, sounding genuinely concerned.

[Y/A/N] nodded slowly. "Fine."

Berrypaw kept silent for a while. "Is it Jaypaw?" [Y/A/N] stared at her in shock.

"How- what- who?" She stuttered.

"Almost the whole clan knows you've been padding after him, [Y/A/N]." Berrypaw said gently, though [Y/A/N] could hear the smugness in Berrypaw's voice that came from being her sister.

"That's not fair," [Y/A/N] whined like a kit who was denied the best piece of fresh-kill.

Berrypaw shrugged, but then her gaze grew serious. "Did he do anything? Or say anything? I know he's a medicine cat now, but who cares about the rules? Just ask StarClan or something, I don't know. You wouldn't usually care, and Jaypaw wouldn't, either. So what's wrong?"

[Y/A/N] glared at Berrypaw. "I hate you for knowing everything about me," she grumbled.

"You love me," Berrypaw purred, bumping into [Y/A/N] gently. "But seriously, what happened?"

"Jaypaw was being mean," [Y/A/N] sighed. "He doesn't want anything to do with me, and.. I don't know. I guess I don't care anymore."

Berrypaw gasped dramatically. "We can't have that! After our training, we're calling Blossompaw and Snowpaw. We'll get revenge!"

[Y/A/N] scoffed and rolled her eyes. "You're way too dramatic."

Berrypaw mock-glared at her. "No one can hurt my sister and get away with it," she said, sounding actually serious.

Finally done! This was actually easier than I remember. Tip: Write your story on Google Docs first then copy and paste it onto Wattpad because if for some reason your account or the story gets cancelled, you'll still have the backup and not have to re-start from memory (I'm speaking with experience 😢).
