***Amaya's POV***

Our first stop was the ruins of Oden's castle. That's where a good portion of the Straw Hat crew and other friends were hiding.

Considering the history of the place, it made sense in many ways that the locals would leave the place alone. After all, why would one go to a graveyard of not just only people, but their dreams of freedom as well?

Ace and I arrived at the mountain's peak, seeing the mossed and weathered tombstones in memory of Oden and his vessels.

"Doesn't look like anyone's been here for awhile." Ace comments.

I hum in agreement. "It's kinda hard to visit when you're caught in a time loop." I state.

His facial expression screwed up in confusion to my statement before he sighs. "Will there ever be a time when I understand everything you say?"

I smile. "Probably not, but if you did, we'd have a new reason to be concerned." That would mean you would have also experienced something similar to my past life, which I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

Hearing commotion on the other side of the wooden ruins, we made our way towards the noise. Once we turned the corner, we earned rapid attention from our friends.

"Ama!" Chopper's voice rang out first, making the chef he was talking to quickly twist around.

"Ama-swannnn!" He did his usual tornado dance.

Everyone was dressed in disguise from their clothes to even their hair styles.

"I see you've found us." Nami smiles at me before we give each other a quick hug.

"Yeah, you guys aren't exactly quiet." I chuckled before a blur of fur pounced my to the ground. "Chhhhiiiiii," I whine. "Whyyyy?"

She stayed sitting on top of my fallen form with her noise pointed to the air. "Chi chI."

"What did I do to deserve that?" I complain.

She turns her head to me in a snap. "CHi cHi!"

"That, again?" I start to get up, picking her up in my arms in the process. "We already talked about this before I left. You're imagining things."

She flickered her tail into my face in protest. "CHI chi ChI!"

My cheeks started to burn at the suggestion until I handed Chi to Ace. "I came to get Chi, so we'll be off." I state, leaving the sight with many curious faces looking at me from behind.

***3rd Person POV***

Ace lifted up Chi to look at her. "What did you just say to ruffle her feathers?"

Chi just huffed as she turned her head away, earning a raised eyebrow of confusion from the raven haired man.

Why wasn't she answering him? She wasn't usually so standoffish to him. Did he do something wrong?

As those thoughts were swirling around his mind, he followed after the swordswoman. The quickly descended the mountain, heading for their next destination.

"Hey Chopper," Sanji's voice broke the silence once they were gone. "What was Chi saying?" He asked the only one who could translate the cloudfox that was present.

"Hm?" Chopper looked up to him in question. "What do ya mean?"

Sanji sighs. "You're the only other person besides Ama-chan and that damn moss head who understands Chi, so what did she say to Ama-chan?"

"Ohh," Chopper nods his head in agreement. "I don't know why Ama got upset. Chi only said that she was in love with-"

The doctor finished his statement, making the chef freeze.
