Freen opened her car door but froze, her mind clouded with the image of Becky's tears. She couldn't leave. Slamming the door shut, she ran back to the house and opened the door. There she found Becky sitting on the floor, hugging her knees, tears streaming down her face.

Freen took a deep breath, steadying herself, and walked toward Becky. She knelt in front of her, gently pressing her hand against Becky's. Becky slowly lifted her head, and the moment she saw Freen, she threw her arms around her, sobbing uncontrollably.

Freen hugged her tightly, her hand softly wiping Becky's tears away as she pushed the hair back from Becky's face.

"I'm sorry," Freen whispered, her voice filled with regret. She leaned forward and kissed Becky's forehead.

"You left me," Becky said through her tears, her voice trembling.

"I'll never do it again," Freen promised, gazing into Becky's tearful eyes.

Becky hugged Freen again, clinging to her as if to make sure she wouldn't disappear.

"So," Freen said softly, still holding Becky, "let's go out and have dinner."

Becky pulled back slightly, her expression softening. "Do you want a baby boy or a girl?" she asked quietly.

Freen froze, then gently pushed Becky away to look at her face. "What?" she asked, her heart racing.

"I trust you," Becky said, her voice steady despite the tears.

A large smile spread across Freen's face, and she wrapped Becky in another tight hug. "You never fail to amaze me," she said with a laugh. "You always know how to make me the happiest person alive."

Becky nodded against Freen's shoulder. "You've never given me a reason to say you're wrong," she said softly. "So, let's try again."

Freen kissed Becky's forehead once more, her love shining in her eyes.

"So..." Becky dragged the word out, her lips curling into a small smile.

"So," Freen said with a grin, "we're going to be a family very soon."

Becky nodded, and Freen's laughter filled the room as she hugged Becky tightly again.

"Thank you, Becky. I don't know what my life would have been like if I hadn't met you. You've taught me what love truly means. And I promise you," Freen said, her voice breaking slightly with emotion, "I'll never leave you. Never."

Becky rested her head on Freen's shoulder, her tears replaced with a content smile. "I know," she whispered.
