Part 2

"I've drafted up the announcement for the Cultural Festival trial run. I'm sending it to you now to read through. Tell me if it's okay."

Later that evening, while Kiyotaka had been researching the Ishigami and Tsubaki families online, he received a call from Horikita. She'd been tasked with drafting up the announcement for the cultural festival trial run on Wednesday. It appeared she had finished it and wanted a review.

The email came onto his computer in addition to his phone. Kiyotaka opened it and read through the draft. If someone had asked if Horikita Suzune would be a publicist before this year, everyone would have laughed. The ice princess of Class 1D could never have done such a role like the Student Council's Publicist, much less write up announcements without sounding rude.

Yet, here she was in Kiyotaka and Ichinose's Student Council drafting up a public announcement from the Student Council about a trial run day for the cultural festival. Kiyotaka realised how far this girl had come, but there was still room for growth for her if she intended to live up to, no, even exceed her brother's wishes.

"The point is gotten across in a professional manner. This should be fine to release for the school forums, as well as make paper announcements for the school bulletin boards in the dorms and in school. Have you managed to work on that?" Kiyotaka questioned.

"Yes. Actually, Ichinose-san is working on the paper one and will send it to me soon. She was happy with the draft I came up with too. If you decided to change anything, she wouldn't have to change much with the paper version."

Which pretty much meant that even if Kiyotaka didn't like it much, Ichinose most likely would have gone ahead with the draft either way. Well, it didn't matter since Horikita had done a good job. There was nothing to criticise, at least in Kiyotaka's eyes.

"Well, I'm glad you're okay with it. I will post the announcement on the school forums shortly, and post another version tomorrow morning. Students, at least the ones that pay attention a lot, should see it and will discuss whether or not to participate with their classes. Considering all that we have here, everything should be sorted by Monday, which gives Shiina-san and Hasebe-san time to handle the budgeting and all in time for Wednesday."

"That'll be great. Thank you."

The call should have ended there. Horikita had called just to check the draft was fine, which meant there was no reason why the call time kept increasing. Usually she was the one who hung up on him when she was done, but that didn't happen. And while Kiyotaka could have easily hung up on her, he felt there was something more she wanted to speak about.

He waited a few more seconds, trying to see if Horikita would say it herself, yet no words came from the phone's speakers. It was best he pushed for it, since she seemed more nervous than before.
