extra chapter 3/3 Minsung

-4 years later-

"Jisung?" Minho called out, walking into their shared apartment although he didn't see any sign that his boyfriend was home

They had moved into the apartment about a month ago and although technically, they had been living together for a while before then, it felt nice to finally have their own space.

He walked near their bedroom and paused when he heard Jisung walking to someone.

"Baby?" Minho called out again but stopped when he heard Jisung practically scream at him not to.

"Don't come in here! Hang on," He heard the younger say and a few seconds later Jisung's head popped out of the door and he awkwardly slid through the small opening of the door, closing it behind him.

"What were you doing?"

"Nothing," Jisung replied with a suspicious smile.

"Jisung, are you cheating on me?" Minho asked dramatically even though he knew that would never ever happen.

"Yeah, that's definitely what's happening," he laughed at the accusation and finally began explaining what was going on. "I did something and probably should have asked you first but it was kind of an urgent situation so I couldn't and," he finally opened the door to reveal what he was hiding and he heard a small squeal from Minho as soon as the older saw a small kitten on their bed.

"You got a kitten?!"

"He was in a box on the side of the road and he was the only one left and-"

Before Jisung could further explain he felt his boyfriend's hands on his cheeks and he felt a pair of lips against his own.

Jisung melted into the kiss, just as he did when the two first started dating four years ago and just like he always would. He could never get tired of Minho.

A lot had happened in the past few years. Minho wasn't expecting things to be perfect after he turned Jisung.

Jisung still had bad thoughts, he still thought about his parents from time to time, still cried when he got overwhelmed and sometimes, he still got the urge to slide a blade across his skin.

He hadn't since he had been turned and weather that was because he deep down didn't want to or because he knew it wouldn't bring him the same feeling that it used to, Minho was proud of him.

Whenever he was feeling like that he would grab a red pen from the jar in their room and hand it to Minho.

Jisung has depression and that wasn't something that would ever go away but without Minho, he probably wouldn't be there at all.

He went to therapy regularly and Minho was there for him every single time he did fall into a slump.

Right now, seeing Minho's smile and hearing him laugh made Jisung feel happier than ever.

"I love him!" Minho exclaimed, kissing the small cats's head before kissing Jisung again. "I hope he gets along with the other cats."

"I think they will all be okay," Jisung smiled.

Minho has also been happier than ever and not just because he had a kitten in his arms.

Before he met Jisung, life seemed very boring and repetitive.

He would eat the same thing for every meal, go to school and see the same people every single day but his boyfriend managed to show him that life isn't so boring. Jisung taught him to appreciate amazing aspects of life as well as the not so amazing ones.

He also got to experience Jisung change so much and he couldn't be more proud.

His boyfriend was no longer the anxious, stuttering boy that he had first become captivated by.

Jisung had become one of the most confident people he had ever known. His smile was as breathtaking as ever and his laugh was still Minho's favorite sound in the would.

He had been hearing a lot more of it ever since they moved into their appointment.

And the thing was, back then, Jisung would have never been able to imagine himself in four years.

If he was being brutally honest, he probably would have told you that he'd be dead by then.

So the fact that he was now in an apartment with the love of his life, 4 cats and a job that he loves was still unbelievable at times.

"Did you have a good day?" Jisung asked Minho who was still obsessing over the new kitten.

"You're asking me that while I'm holding a kitten."

"I meant at work."

"Work was good, how about you? Did you have a good day? The answer is probably yes considering that we have a new cat, right?"

"Yeah," Jisung laughed. "I had a pretty good day too."
