chapter 16 - discharged

Y/n POV-

Aizawa and Sapphire walk through the door and Sapphire takes a seat beside me "hey how are you feeling" Sapphire asks as she looks at me.
"I'm feeling alr" trying to level my voice before asking "can we just get straight into what's going on" I look down at my hands trying to distract myself from crying again.

"Alr well seeing how you probably don't want the long story I'll just give you the short one" she starts while moving her hands then continues "as you already know before your mum met your dad I was her partner she once told me about a family secret.....each female member of the family has this sort of ability with their quirk...now it seems you have achieved this ability but you only used part of it to fully use your ability....I don't know how but I do know what it may do" she takes another pause probably trying to get the right words.

I look up to see a look of concentration on Aizawa's face. "It appears it magnifies your ability to persuade when using your quirk but takes a huge amount of concentration and power....what happened at the USJ was only part of it the start of it you could say but you never made it to fully power....now what happened earlier I have no idea I've never seen something like that but it could have been a late affect of my healing quirk"

Sapphire finishes as a flash of realisation crossed my mind, "I saw my mum and dad..." before I could completely finish my sentence Aizawa speaks up "what do you mean" confusion evident on his face "earlier before I woke up....I saw them" I said starting to feel tired again.

"But that doesn't matter right now....what I need to know is do you know what the map means" Sapphire smiles gently "yes I do and I know you must wan to know now but soon if your ready for it send me a message I have to get back to work sorry" she said as she handed me a piece of paper from her pocket and got up "oh ok thank you a lot" I smile as she turns and waves and leaves the room.

"How much have I missed" I asked hoping it wasn't much. "You haven't missed anything too important but I'll tell you the changes to the school if you would like me too" he asked from across the room, I look over at him and nodded my head"yes please"

"Ok I'll start with the living situations students are now required to live in dorms during the week and can choose to do so or if they want they can go home on weekends as well, second classes are on going but nothing much has been missed....now I can find a solution for Nozomi I'm sure Sapphire is happy to look after her during the week until you visit her on the weekends" I nod as he finishes speaking "thank you Aizawa sensei" "I'll be going now I'll come back later to see how your going" he states then leaves.

I lay back down feeling tired and I decide to have a nap.

1 week later

It's Saturday and I've been in here for a week doing all sorts of test and exercises and finally I get released today.

As my paperwork finishes getting filed I look around my room waiting for the doctor to arrive. I get up and walk over to the bag of my clothes sitting on the chair, just as I'm about to open the bag the doctor knocks on the door making me jump in the process. "Come in" I yell as I walk back towards my hospital bed, the doctor walks in a clears his throat "paper work has been filed you are free to go"

I thank the doctor before grabbing my things and leaving. I wait in the waiting area for Aizawa to come pick me up.

15 minutes later

I climbed into the passenger seat of Aizawa's car, "can we drop by my home first" I asked hoping " sure we'll drop by then get some of your things for your dorm" I thanked him and the rest of the travel was in a comfortable silence.

We made it to my house and it felt like a breath of fresh air, I opened the door and instantly heard the little tip taps of Nozomi's paws as she ran to greet me at the door. I instantly pick her up to cuddle her and she purrs in my arms, I gently place her on the ground and make my way up to my bedroom.

After finding a couple suitcases I place clothes, towels, soaps, skincare that I bought a while ago and some make-up. In the other I place shoes and my favourite blanket and pillows as well as a photo of me and Denki as kids and a photo of me and my parents. I decided to leave the rest I'll probably come back for some of it anyways.

I walk downstairs and see Nozomi curled up on Aizawa's lap sleeping. I grab my suitcases and quietly walk towards the front door and come back to the living room.

"Are you ready" Aizawa asks as he moves Nozomi to beside himself gently trying not to wake her. "Yea I'm ready" "good Sapphire will be here soon with her stuff she'll be staying here for you looking after the house and Nozomi" he said raising slowly off the couch. I nod and we make our way to the front door.

Aizawa looks at his buzzing phone and looks back up, "do you want to wait for her" I look back into the living room and nod "yeah sure" "ok I'll load these into the car" he then grabs my suitcases and walks towards the car. While waiting I decide to grab a snack from the kitchen, I make my way into the kitchen deciding on my favourite snack.

After eating and cleaning up I hear voices outside, I walk back to the front door and see Sapphire. She walks over and waves to me "hey I hope your doing well" she asks "I am" I say giving her a smile

10 minutes later

After leaving Sapphire back at the house we make our way to UA
