Because inspiration hit, extra chapter! Woo!

Watching Scar disappear between two of his wings, Grian grumbles, "You know, I keep saying this, but I really should stop promising stuff like this. Believe it or not, it's awfully hard to not get distracted by you."
Though the layers of feathers muffle it, he still hears Scar's cheery yet dismissive response. "Just pretend I'm not here! Like a whisper in the wind, my presence is but a small flicker in the infinite cosmos..."
"Well Mr Small Flicker would find himself awfully stuck if I pretend he's not here and fold up my wings like normal, just like when Mr Small Flicker decided it would be fun to bounce grapes off my head. Despite the size, my wings really do fit together pretty snugly."
"...Maybe don't do that then."
"Thought so." He resists the urge to shuffle his wings. It's basically the wing-equivalent of rolling his shoulders, and the desire is brought on at this point in time by a certain someone seeing how close to the base of his wings he can squeeze before there's literally not enough room for him to fit. "And if you get stuck, I'm leaving you there for a few minutes to regret doing it."
"I won't, I won't."
He shakes his head, pulling out his oversized laptop to work on editing. He probably won't get much done, but anything he does now is something he doesn't have to do later.
Sure enough, five minutes later...
"...Grian?"
The guilty, regretful tone tells him all he needs to know, even without being able to feel the little wizard who went and got himself stuck near the base of his wings. "I did warn you, you know."
"Well I kinda thought you were big enough, it wouldn't be too tight..."
He sighs. Phrasing, Scar... "My wings aren't skinny, and I've got a lot of them all looking to occupy the same general area of my back." He lets his wings relax from the slightly separated layers he'd been holding them in for Scar's benefit. 'Naturally, that means they'll be tightly layered. Once I get this clip edited, I'll pull you out."
"Aww..."
The clip in question is already mostly finished, he just phrased it like it wasn't to make Scar think it was gonna take a while. Rename that, cut out a couple failed takes of a line, drag it over to the right folder, and done!
The spot Scar got stuck is actually not a place he can reach with his hand, believe it or not. It's an awkward spot even for normal sapients, and his wings very much get in the way for him. Luckily, he doesn't actually need to use his hand.
A wisp of magic wraps around the wayward Hermit, tugging him out and dangling him in the air. Scar does flail a bit, but relaxes when he plops him down on his head, grabbing some of his hair to start braiding together. At least he doesn't seem interested in continuing to mess around between his wings for now. It's not uncomfortable, per say, but it's definitely distracting, and the sensation is kinda similar to having a caterpillar crawling on your skin. Light, painless, but it still makes you want to itch that spot a bit.
Unfortunately, that apparently wasn't meant to last.
"Can you lie down and hold two wings out so that it's like I'm walking through a low feather cave?"
Sighing, he flops down onto his stomach, stretching out his wings. Just for today. After that, he has no obligation to follow Scar's instructions on how to be a better jungle gym. "Just this once, okay?"
