Chapter thirty seven

(Y/n)'s pov:

Maybe it was true that all I needed was to cry it out to be better. I feel more lighter and relieved, even if I broke my promise not to cry.

"(Y/n)." Zabuza greeted me, a softer tone appearing in his tone. "You're here."

Right after I left the Hokage's office I knew what I wanted to do. I knew what to do to become Chunin. And Zabuza was treating me softly. Too softly which was really unlike him.

"Of course." I spoke, putting my hands in my sweaters pockets. "I just want to tell you that you can train Haku. We have a whole month and I have someone to train with already."

His eyes hardened as he leaned against a nearby tree. "Are you sure? Haku can manage just fine, I already tought him everything."

I sighed, nodding my head and looking up at the sky. Big fluffy clouds floated above.

"I am sure. You saw me fighting Kabuto with the crystals. Even if I don't know lot's of jutsu's yet I want to perfect my techniques, learn new ones. Kankuro saw me when I fought, he knows my moves and I know his." I looked back at Zabuza. "It may be just me and Haku in team nine, but I will not fail."

He was quiet for a few seconds just staring at me before he nodded his head.

"Who are you training with again?"

I grinned.

"You'll meet him soon enough. Just a cocky bastard who talks too much sometimes."

I'll exhaust you for that.

I love you too.

Shut up.

I sighed looking up at a rooftop ready to make my exit as Zabuza just stared at me with a raised eyebrow.

"I'll make you proud, Zabuza." I spoke jumping up the rooftop, but his voice stopped me.

"(Y/n)." I didn't turn, but I stopped moving. "I already am proud of you."

I couldn't help the smile on my face as I jumped away.

Of course I was going to train with Reji. I debated the option to actually summon him in a scheduled area, on a training ground even so I wouldn't only train in my mindspace.

And maybe I will.

Will you now? What is someone sees me?

Sitting in the shadow of a big tree, I closed my eyes to fall asleep. And my training began.

"FOUR DAYS?"

I screamed and sat up in a hurry. Four days had passed, I trained for four days straight, my body asleep but I was well awake in my mindspace, train, sleep.

This human body hasn't eaten anything in four days and I was starving. I was both thirsty ans starving.

"Damn you, Reji." I grunted jumping up and hurrying to my apartment. I wasn't sure what I was sore from. Training with Reji or sleeping under that tree for four days.

I am surprised no one has found me.
