America's POV:
Great, he disappeared. Lovely. I knew something wasn't adding up with my dad.. Britain had been acting so.. 'strange' so to speak about this whole situation since it started a year ago... but the thought that he was partially- no, almost completely responsible for the empires coming back was, well, a bit of a hard pill to swallow...
Which would mean that Britain had either gone somewhere else, or where the empires mostly resided in Canada when they weren't being colonial bastards..
Wait a minute...
I sat up a little more in the chair I was sitting on as I adjusted how my sunglasses were sitting, my feathered tail flicking a bit as I thought about it over in my head. UN had been gone for a year, who-knows if he was able to get there and do something or not, but by the fact that the empires' progress had been slowed in recent times adds a bit of proof...
Hm... What if, I went there myself, see if I can find UN and maybe even do a little something to stop them for good.. Huh, not that bad of an idea I guess... risky, but as long as i know my way around, I should be fine, right?
Still, I shouldn't just leave without saying something. NATO probably won't agree with it though...
I only sighed a bit as I took a glance around, seeing a few countries around, like Germany and Austria nearby, and NATO also. I could say it now, see what happens and maybe make a plan of sorts.. But eh, my plan sounds fool-proof.
Still, I decide to wait until Germany and Austria go off somewhere else before I talk to NATO, it just seems like.. the right decision.
Although, the next time I look up to where the other three are, I saw NATO actually coming over to where I was. Huh... convenient.
"You looked a little deep in thought there, America. What's got your mind?" NATO spoke up with, his tone as neutral as ever.
"Just, about what's happened so far.. and mostly about my dad and what we've learned." NATO nodded a little at my response, then replying again.
"Understandable."
... Why does this feel a little awkward now? Sure i wanted to bring up the idea but like... I don't know, but I might as well say it before he either walks away or it gets too awkward..
"... Hey uh, NATO?" I spoke up after a few moments, catching his attention as he only hums in response, waiting for my next words.
I did hesitate for a second or two while I got up off the chair I was sitting on, adjusting my sunglasses a little while i found the right words.
"You know how.. the empires' progress had been slowed since UN had, well left to Nada's old land?" NATO had raised an eyebrow a little at my question, and although the mention of UN seemed to make him tense a little, he nodded a little to wait for me to carry on.
"Well... I was thinking 'bout something else other than my dad, and had a little idea relating to it, but I didn't really now how you'd react to it.." I said, as NATO only got more curious yet wary, speaking up himself with a little narrow of his eyes.
"Alright.. so, what was it then if you'd be led to believe I wouldn't react well to it?" I only rubbed the back of my neck a little while he spoke, not really knowing how to phrase it well so he wouldn't react strongly about it.
