Some of the deathwatch nodded in agreement despite watching an upcoming siege it was kinda boring...

Sure they had seen a bit of action and the big ass titan but it wasn't really satisfying

Rex shrugged and answered his ARC Trooper brother "who knows..."

The viewing began where it last left off...
With a ship falling straight towards Helsreach in the night sky

The large ship nearly hitting one of the towers as it crashed towards the ground, pieces being torn as it scraped through the earth

Obi Wan chuckled as he leaned towards Satine "another happy landing..."

This made the duchess giggle as Korkie turn to watch them... Somewhat embarrassed being with them just by proximity

The collective let out a sigh of relief

"That was close..." Deppa billaba said leaning back from her seat

"Too close for comfort..." Mace said

The night sky turned into day as Grimaldus and the other officers looked over the fallen ship

"The ship registers as The Purest Intent," Sarren informed everyone "An Astartes vessel, strike cruiser-class, belonging to the–"

"Shadow Wolves" Grimaldus interrupted with a quiet but harsh murmer "The Black Templars were with them at the end."

"The end?" Asked Cyria Tyro

Grimaldus nodded "They fell at the Battle of Varadon eleven years ago. Their last companies were annihilated by the tyranid-breed xenos"

Everyone save for the new visitors winced from being reminded of the Tyranids existance

Apollo nodded "aye... But to Grimaldus he truly believed that... But new sources came out if they were truly the last companies of the shadow wolves.."

This made plo Koon turn with surprise "explain?"

Kirk was next to answer "There was a report of Shadow Wolves present during the 13th black crusade... We don't truly know if they had been wiped out by it or they had survived... But either way they still live."

"That was after helsreach?" Anakin asked which made Apollo and Kirk nod

"But why?" Mace asked if the shadow wolves still live then why did Grimaldus believe they had fallen?
