Chapter 3

Gabriella's P.O.V.

The next morning I woke up to someone shaking me, my eyes fluttered open as I saw my mum standing over me in a grey pencil skirt and white top, which meant she was going to work, she worked as a business women as a sales person, she was very successful actually.

"Gabi? Wake up sweetie, you're going to be late for school" She said as she turned the TV on.

"What time is it?" I groaned rubbing my eyes as I saw I was covered with a blanket still laying on the couch from last night.

"It's almost 7, last night when I came back you were knocked out, so I didn't want to wake you so I put a blanket over you" She explained as I stood up folding the blanket.

"Oh, thanks mom, how was the dinner?" I asked turning around.

"It was good, thanks for cleaning up the place" She winked referring to me cleaning up last night.

"No problem, I'm gonna go get dressed" I yawned, she nodded as I went up the stairs I looked down at my phone to see I had a text from Jason.

"Good morning princess, have a good day at school, love you"

I smiled and quickly replied before I went to my room, I went to my bathroom and did my morning stuff.

Once I was done I went to my closet and since it had stopped raining and was pretty humid, I took out a pair of high waisted black pants and a white and black checkered cropped top, I rolled the bottom of my jeans up and put on my black and white nike Roshe Runs.

I brushed out my ombre hair and curled it slightly so that it was nice and wavy.

I only had light makeup on today, mascara, eyeliner and a lip liner and lipstick.

I decided to leave my backpack today, I grabbed my main text books and my phone in my back pocket, I left my room.

I went downstairs and went to the kitchen were I saw Gabe who was half asleep as he ate his cereal.

"Wake up!" I yelled making him quickly wake up and look around confused.

"Gabi" my mum warned laughing, I laughed taking out the orange juice, I had a granola bar before I finished my juice.

"You want a ride?" I asked Gabe who was slowly eating his cereal.

"Nah, mum says she will drop me off" he replied, I nodded.

"I may well I'm going, bye mama, bye bro" I said, they both said bye before I left my house.

It was Friday and I felt good, even though it wasn't sunny or anything, I just felt happy.

I got in to my car and drove off to school.

I arrived and got out taking my books out. I saw in a distance Taylor who was standing by my group of friend.

Liam; one of the jocks, he was tall, big, and every girls crush, he was funny and stuff but totally not my type.

Then there was Harvey; he was totally down to earth, you could talk to him about anything, he was sweet.

Karen who was short, bubbly and loud.

And then Taylor and Alex, a long with my other guy friend Damon but he wasn't there because he's normally with his jock friends. Jason doesn't really like my hanging around with guys, he says that I should be the only man for me, and I totally understand but these guys were my friends, like my brothers so he shouldn't be too protective about this.

"And there she is" Harvey pointed me out making everyone turn around and watch me walk toward them.

"Hey guys" I smiled side hugged Taylor who I was now standing next to.

They all greeted me before they started talking about some fight that happened earlier.

"So, did he call?" I heard Taylor whisper to me. I smiled.

"I called...and it went well" I smiled thinking back to the conversation.

"Aw look at you" She laughed as I blushed. We decided to head in as the bell went, we all went of in our own periods and I had my first period, chemistry with Liam and Karen.

We walked together as we talked about random things until we reached the lab room. I was a at next to Liam and it was funny because every experiment that was set, he would just purposely mess it up, putting in random mixtures most likely making the fluids flood.

All in all the day went fast, and I didn't think much of it.

By no time it was the end of the day and we all were saying our goodbyes.

"So bowling, Sunday night" Karen finalised and we all nodded.

"See you guys there, bye" I smiled at them before i got in my car and drove home.

Once is was home I opened the door and called out for Gabe to see if he was home, "In my room!" He replied.

I nodded as I went upstairs, I went past his room to see that he was too busy sleeping, he was knocked out and when Gabe sleeps, a hurricane could happen and he still wouldn't wake up. I realised as I looked out his window in his room, it had started to rain again which made his room look extra dark.

I went to my room and opened the door, as soon as I opened it I saw it was really dark and what made me scared was the dark figure standing in the middle of the room.

I quickly flicked the light switches on and saw who it was. A huge smile spread on my face.

"Jason!" I squealed as I ran up to him, he spread his arms from me as I jumped in them, he picked me up and spun us around, I wrapped my legs around his torso as I pulled away from the hug.

"Told you I'd be here soon baby girl" He said making me smile.

I leaned forward and crashed my lips on his, we slowly moved in sync as our tongues danced together, I missed this feeling.

I missed him.
