Trapped.

"Hey Y/n" I heard a voice call me from behind. I turn around only to find Todoroki. "Oh hey Shoto," I say with a smile.

"Got you a slushie," he says as he hands it to me.

"[favorite slushie flavor] my favorite how'd you know?" I say with a smile to which Shoto replies "Oh I just pick it randomly, to be honest"

I giggle before taking the slushie.

I took a sip of the slushie, savoring the familiar taste. "Thanks, Shoto. This is perfect."

He nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "I'm glad you like it."

We stood there for a moment, an awkward silence settling between us. I fidgeted with the straw, trying to think of something to say.

"So... how's your training going?" I asked, mentally kicking myself for such a stupid question.

Shoto's eyes lit up slightly. "It's going well. I've been working on combining my ice and fire more effectively."

"That's so cool!" I said, genuinely interested. "I'd love to see that sometime."

He nodded, then hesitated for a second before speaking again. "Maybe... maybe we could train together sometime?"

Before I could answer, a loud explosion echoed nearby, followed by angry shouting that sounded suspiciously like Bakugo.

Shoto and I exchanged a look, both of us trying not to laugh.

"We should probably go check that out," I said, gesturing in the direction of the noise.

Shoto nodded, falling into step beside me as we walked. "So, about that training..." he started, his voice trailing off as we rounded the corner to face whatever chaos awaited us.

"Let's start after this beach trip. Y'know, isn't it kinda weird we're on this trip?" I question.

"What do you mean?" Shoto asked me curious as to what I was trying to say.

"I mean Mr Aizawa hates giving out breaks he's always saying breaks are for bitches." I said. Todoroki stayed quiet for a bit before saying.

"Maybe he genuinely wanted us to relax. We have been training really hard this term maybe he thought we deserved a break" Todoroki stated.

We stopped when we saw it was just Bakugo shouting at Midoriya for apparently taking a "shit" ice cream flavour.

"WHAT KIND OF IDIOT TAKES MINT ICE CREAM!?" Bakugo shouted at midoriya as his vanilla ice cream was slowly melting in his hand.

"Mint ice cream is so good what is wrong with you?!" Midoriya protested.

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!!" Bakugo shouts before realising his ice cream has melted all over his hand "NOW LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!! YOU'RE BUYING ME A NEW ONE AND DAMNIT YOU'RE BUYING IT NOW!!"

"How is it my fault your ice cream melted!!" Midoriya shouted.

"IT JUST IS!!"

"Well this has been fun," I say to Todoroki. "They'll work it out themselves let's go"

Me and Shoto walk away while walking I stop.

"You alright?" Shoto asked.

I look around the beach and realise.

"Shoto...other than that ice cream man. Our class, Class B, Vlad King and Mr. Aizawa are the only ones here."

Todoroki then proceeds to look around then realise I was right.
