rewrite of "everything i wanted"
part 1 - it's time to go
that old familiar body ache
the snaps from the same little breaks
in your soul , you know
when it's time to go
part 2 - the great war
always remember
tears on the letters
i vowed not to cry...

AFTER TWO HOURS of trying, jason managed to feed leah. she refused to eat anything he gave her, but at this point, she believed if he had poisoned the food she now consumed, at least it meant her friends wouldn't have to come and save her.
but alas, it surprisingly wasn't poisoned, nor was it laced with any harmful substance. in fact, it was a pretty good meal. this scared leah more than anything. she needed to find out what the men had planned for her - or more importantly, her friends.
jason walked over to the video camera, starting a stream again.
"greetings and salutations, agents," jason said into the camera, smug. "it is now 5pm, meaning it's been almost 24 hours of us having leah as our guest! i believe that deserves a round of applause." he started clapping, walking over to leah who was still tied up on the chair, looking at him unenthused.
she looked right into the camera. "guys, seriously, don't come. i'm okay, just please don't co-"
"they won't listen to you, doll. even if they tried, they won't find you anyway. not alive at least." he got up close to her ear. "i would say your goodbyes sooner rather than later."
he then laughed as he left the room. leah sighed, thinking. she hated to admit it, but she had to face the truth. he was right.
"hey, garcia..."
meanwhile, at the bureau, the agents were gathered around the round table in silence, some of them bouncing their legs and the others biting their nails, all in anticipation for any news. suddenly, garcia ran into the room and caused the agents to stand.
"she's asking for us," she said, voice cracking as she quickly connected her laptop to the monitor in the room. "she's in the room alone and she wants me to play the video for you guys."
the agents exchanged looks, all scared for what they could possibly be watching.
leah sat in a silence for a few moments more before finally starting to speak again. "thanks, garcia. i think. um, if you all are watching this, this is live, i am here. please know that i am okay. i am alive, and they haven't hurt me again, but, um- just in case, i just want to say a little something for each of you. we don't know what's going to happen and- you all mean so much to me." leah stopped for a second, sniffling as she started to cry.
