"Now remember, each kid gets a sifter, a safari hat, and a shovel, and oh let's see what what about food-" Kendall rants, shoving various items into poor Riley's arms.

"Hey, hey, hey," He interrupts her rambling, "Deep breaths. Everything's taken care of."

"He's right boss, the event's gonna be great." I interject, fixing Riley's lobsided hat as I try to get her to chill out.

She sighs, "I know. I'm a little stressed out but kids look forward to the museum's fossil funday all year..." She clasps her hands and stares into space whistfully, "now let's go over everything again."

'And there it is' I sigh, glancing at Riley.

"That hat suits you by the way." I comment without waiting for a reply as I follow Ms Morgan.

A minute later, I pause in my tracks as I see...Ivan? On a horse? In full armour? "What..."

"Oh good grief." Ms Morgan groans as she marches up to the horse and its rider. "Nothing to see here folks, the museum entrance is right over there." The gesture she makes with her hands encourages people to stop taking pictures of Ivan and move along.

"Good day peasants!" Ivan jovially waves off the crowd. "Have fun!"

As Riley catches up with me, we gather around the other rangers and Ms Morgan. I notice a pointedly dejected Tyler in a knee-length brown coat, striking my brow up in questioning.

"I think we need to find Ivan some clothes that are a little less..." She glances over her shoulder, "Medieval."

Shelby practically squeals, "I can take you shopping!" She excalims.

"T'would be a pleasure my lady!" The knight agrees as she jumps up onto the horse's back "Allow me!". I hear a scoff of annoyance to my left, catching the unimpressed face that Tyler pulls in response.

"A brisk gallop through the woods is now in order!"

"Dude, you're just going to the mall." The red ranger snaps.

"Why don't you take the others in your uh, motorised buggy and meet us at the park." Ivan responds, sounding sweetly condescending. He then grasps the reins and commands the horse to trot away.

"My...'buggy'?" Tyler repeats. Chase giggles at his words, to which I gently elbow his side.

"Knob." I whisper, a small smirk appearing on my lips as he feigns offence.

Tyler dramatically swoops his coattail and climbs into his car, with the rest of us following suit.

At the fossil fair, Tyler and I hand out the kits to all of the young visitors as they enter. Riley and Chase serve barbeque food, Koda shows kids how to carry bones and Ms Morgan gets disrespected by every kid she tries to chastise.

When Shelby and Ivan show up, I pull a pained face as I flick my gaze from them to Tyler, noticing Ivan wearing the same jacket he has.
