HIM

"DID YOU manage to convince Edyzel?" the sound of fastening her seatbelt occupied the silence between us.

This is what I hate about her. Whenever something didn't go the way she wanted, she would tantrum like a baby.

I hate it. That's so boring.

"He was as hard as rock. Just let him rest in peace, Kuya." she sighed and faced me.

"Can't we just forget about that INNOV009 thingy? It's making me sick kasi," she blurted out, crossing her arms while rolling her eyes.

I sighed and patted her head.

Ah, yes. For a newbie like her, the three consecutive acts of pretending and wandering around the Carsons must have been exhausting.

"I'm not planning on rejoining that organization, you know that." I replied in a low tone.

I heard her blow some air before driving the car. Her driving is infuriating level enough to almost hit the three trash bins beside the pedestrian. Most of my stuff was already on the car floor while the cup of taho secured by my two hands was swaying sexily in my eyes.

Damn. Had a drop of this came off, I'm gonna kill my sister. Right away.

After almost half an hour, we got home. I immediately changed my clothes and prepared our dinner.

I have scheduled myself to rest for today. It's boring if I'm all focused on my plan.

"Do you think she's disappointed?" she asked and looked at me, staring at their last photo together as mother and daughter.

It's her last photo opportunity with the little girl she left at the noodle house. The place where we lead the prodigy. The place where it all began.

It's her and her daughter, Daphney.

"She won't." I immediately reassured her as I hid my smirk.

"Because she will never know that you're her mother, Fomei." I smiled and patted her head.

She rolled her eyes. "Stop it, Kuya. It's holding me back whenever I think that my child with Kleeve is collateral."

I smirked. "Wow, talking as if you two conceived Daphney, huh? Just be thankful I grant your request thanks to that one of a kind device."

She immediately faced me with a different aura now. "That was so eew, haven't you heard of the dramatic effect ba, Kuya!?" she laughed.

"I know naman that I should be thankful that Daphney was the first successful product of your Genesis device. What I don't understand is what's your habol pa ba in that organization? The device is in your possession naman, eh." she asked and back on her habit, curling the end of her hair.

"I've already told you before, didn't I?" I stretched my arms.

"Despite working for more than a decade with that org, I wasn't able to personally meet the scientists behind them. We communicate via codenames. I don't even know their faces. Unlike what you deliberately spilled to Edyzel earlier, the INNOV009 members were not all killed." I know it very well because I'm the one who killed the rest.

"There were two remaining members. Based on what I've found out, it looks like Gordon was one of them." I blurted out that leaving her with no response.

"The last one is from the Avelon clan." she nodded her head.

"By the way, I didn't know that Gordon has a daughter." she replied and smirked.
