The lights went out.
Those damn leeches were starting to piss Jimin off. He swore he'd get his red eyes and hands back if those things kept disrupting his sleep. Right when he thought he'd drift off, bam. Lights gone. Curses from Barrett outside as he rushed to fix it. Cora giggling because Sam let her stay up past her bedtime.
Welp, at least his crewmates were as sleep-deprived as he was.
Jimin stretched, drank some water, and left his quarters, hitting the bathroom once he convinced Cora to go back to her dad. She scampered off, and Jimin chuckled to himself before he stopped in the hallway and stood there like an idiot.

Jimin groaned for not realizing it earlier, and he did his captain's duty of heading to her room and knocking on the door. No response. As expected.
"Wellness check. Lights went out, everyone's kinda scattered right now," Jimin said. The doors were thick, but the walls weren't, so he knew she heard him. "Y/n, I know you're awake. You don't sleep. If you don't answer, I'll have to override your door."
As the captain, he had fingerprint access to every door onboard. Including Jin's, despite him being a new member, though Jimin had no interest in barging in Jin's room. All he'd see were mirrors and Jin reading some stupid biology book. Ew. Jimin didn't know how anyone could stomach reading that bullshit. He preferred the highs and lows of sci-fis with a dash of romance, not whatever that nerdy shit was.
