We can't think of a chapter name

A/N: No chapter title this time because it is late and I am sick and my cowriter can't think of a good title either. If y'all have suggestions I will gladly listen. Also, I'M NOT DEAD BITCHES. Just very busy at all times. I haven't had a non-weekend day off in like four months so. But! The new chapter is here, and I do not plan on abandoning this anytime soon. I and my cowriter have way too many plans.

D/N: can confirm, neither of us have had the same day free to work on stuff, and there are actual months in between messages in our planning discord. We are Old and Busy

The next morning Harry, Fleur, and Gabrielle were released from the Hospital Wing. They walked together to the Great Hall, chatting easily enough between them. They split up to go sit with their usual companions, except Harry was sidetracked on the way to his usual spot at the Slytherin table by Tracy Davis yanking him down to sit between her and Theo Nott, near the first years.

"Er. Hello?" he greeted unsurely, blinking between the two of them.

"Sorry about Tracy, Mona. She's of the opinion that if Malfoy is going to be a bitch about being your most important person then you shouldn't sit next to him," Nott explained, not looking up from his food beyond a polite nod.

Davis, however, put her fork down entirely. "Malfoy is being a prat. If he wants to throw away your friendship because you have a werewolf for a godfather in law than he can fuck right off. And you need to stop sulking in the common room. You can have as many friends outside Slytherin as you like, but you need some in there as well. You can call me Tracy."

Harry blinked some more, than laughed. "Alright. You can call me Harry, Tracy. Nott, what's that in front of you that's so good, and would you pass it to me."

Nott laughed and passed him the food. "You can call me Theo if you're calling her Tracy."

"Harry, then." They spent the rest of breakfast with companionable conversation, with the first years occasionally leaning across the table with bright eyes and curious questions about the dragons and what happened under the lake. Harry grinned and told them a very dramatic version of his fight with the squid, who's name was actually Belesama, and was possibly a goddess of the lake. The little first years gasped in awe.

One brave soul, Belladonna Fawley, shoved her DADA homework across the table for Harry to help with, which he did. This broke the barrier and suddenly he was the center of a storm of Charms, Transfiguration, and Potions questions. He helped as best as he could, remembering his own time in those classes. Tracy seemed satisfied with this, and only broke in occasionally to offer her own experiences.

After breakfast, Tracy reluctantly let Harry go, as he had promised to meet the other members of Les Amis, but made him promise to come study with her in the library later. They agreed on a time, and Tracy flounced off with an amused Theo in tow. The first years stayed near Harry, looking a little lost on what to do, and Harry smiled, crouching down to get shorter than them. "I have to go see my other friends, but if you like, I'll be in the library with Tracy and Theo later if you still need help with your homework."

Little Belladonna sniffed and pointed her nose up. "I only had the one question. But I suppose if you need help with your homework I could come visit," and flounced away in the same motions as Tracy. Harry hid a laugh behind his hand and stood up, ruffling the hair of the closest first year, much to her dismay as she squawked and frantically reached up to smooth it down with a pout. The other kids reluctantly dispersed as well, and Harry grinned, turning to head to Myrtle's bathroom for the Les Amis meeting.

He was dragged somewhere for the second time, but this time it was Ginny dragging him into Myrtle's bathroom. He yelped but let himself be yanked with no other complaint, other than to rub his throat where his collar had inadvertently pulled.
