So, fun fact: today is the 9th anniversary of me posting my first Game of Thrones chapter on here! 9 years have felt like they've flown by, but I've recently been taking more of a look back at that time, and it's weird to realise how much I've changed and adapted both personally and as a writer.

I started in 2016 as a 20-year-old student, eager to practise writing alongside my degree, taking advantage of the fact that I'd never suffered from writer's block before (God, am I jealous of that these days!) and I decided that if I started posting my little stories, a couple of people would maybe enjoy them.

And now, at the ripe old age of 29 (yes, I'm going to be turning 30 next year, and that is terrifying), I've got a big girl job and I know what I want to do with my life (it was a shock to us all when it wasn't being a famous author, after getting both my Undergraduate and Masters degrees in Creative Writing, I know...)
I spend my free time looking at mortgage advice and researching houses in commutable towns. I crochet stupid little octopuses and give them as silly little gifts. I still do a little bit of writing from time to time, though it's a lot less frequent than it used to be.

But most importantly, I'm still being supported by this incredible little Game of Thrones community, which is no longer all that little and now also includes MCU and Stranger Things fans.

So, I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to you guys, the amazing people who have supported me, whether that was reading just one chapter, or if it was commenting on every. single. chapter. (You guys know who you are!) You might not know it, but you've gotten me through some pretty rough times in the last 9 years, and I am forever grateful for that.

(And I promise, there is actually a new Game of Thrones chapter in the works. I know I've been neglecting you a little recently, but it's coming, I swear!)

Love you all!
