BuzzFeed Presents: "Pro Heroes Dynamight and Dreamcatcher Answer Fan Questions While Playing With Puppies"

The lights go on before the puppies come out, and that's the first thing Bakugo notices.

It's not the smell of the studio–sanitized, over-perfumed–or the fact that his legs sprawled out in front of him lazily because he had to sit on the floor. It's not even the giant black boom mic looming like a villain above their heads. It's that they're filming before the dogs are released.

He's about to complain when Asumi beats him to the punch.

"No dogs yet?" she asks offhandedly, glancing around like she might have just missed them. Her jacket sleeve slips past her knuckle as she adjusts her mic hidden under the fabric just barely, fingers fiddling. "I was promised dogs." Lovely work the sound techs were gonna have with that. He could've sworn he saw one with a headset flinch.

"They're on standby," the producer calls. "We're gonna roll first."

Asumi leans back, eyes narrowing playfully. "You're playing a dangerous game, BuzzFeed."

Next to her, Bakugo lets out a sharp huff, barely a laugh.

She doesn't look at him, but she knows he's smirking. Just barely.

He adjusted his position in the black jeans he was given, feeling just a bit uncomfortable. Unlike Asumi, who they dressed in a cropped varsity-style jacket in their agency's colors, crimson and gold with their brand logo of an explosion atop a dreamcatcher embroidered on the shoulder of one of the sleeves. Her boots were high, and she certainly rocked American street style while on their little American detour for a press distraction and helping with an international mission. Her eyeliner is winged within an inch of its life, which seemed to be a commonality here.

He couldn't say he enjoyed the tightness of America's street style, preferring bagginess even during interviews.

"Rolling in three, two–"

Bakugo shifts, arms crossing, jaw already set.

" –one."

A graphic flashes on-screen, under  it being the Japanese translation (a common courtesy for their foreign guests, even if they didn't need it much):

Asumi squints at it, then sits forward like she's going to say something serious.

"They lied to us," She said in fluent English–thank you UA!

Bakugo blinks at her.

She points to the air, addressing some invisible audience. "There are no dogs yet."

He eyed the crew behind the cameras, giving them a look.  "She's not gonna shut up about this until they let them out."

"I was promised puppies."

He sighs, but under it, he's amused.

Oh, right. Introductions.

"Hi. I'm Dreamcatcher," she says, tone resigned.

"Dynamight," he grunts.

The silence after stretches.

Asumi leaned into the mic again as if this were some ASMR video. "Still no puppies."

"Would you quit?" Bakugo told her, switching to Japanese to not get the English-speaking crew involved in their bickering (which had become a commonality in most interviews, eaten up by fans).
