Debut has changed us. (Seventeen Meanie)

Chapter 1: Three Words

*flashback*
Wonwoo's p.o.v.

"I've felt this way for awhile and I'm hoping you feel the same way." My best friend, who I also happened to have a crush on, Mingyu, said while looking at the ground.

Did he really just say that. I just stared at him unsure of what I should say.

"So..., Jeon Wonwoo?" He walked forwards and took ahold of my hands. "Would you go out with me?" He said, finally looking up me.

I blinked a couple times before quietly answering "Ne..."

Mingyu had the biggest smile I have ever seen. Though, I was pretty sure mine was bigger. Both of our smiles fadded as we started to lean towards each other.

The second our lips connected, I knew, Kim Mingyu was the man I would love for the rest of my life. Even if he didn't feel the same way.

Present day
Still Wonwoo's p.o.v.

That was almost a year ago.

It will be an offical one year in exactly one week.

"What are you smiling about?" I opened my eyes to my beautifully handsome boyfriend Kim Mingyu smiling at me. Yes, he is both beauitful and handsome.

I laughed a bit. "Just remembering the day you ask me out."

"Ah, right." Mingyu nodded his head. "Awkward times for me." I laughed. "It will be a year next week. You do remember right?"

"How could I forget." I smiled. "It is exactly one week away."

Mingyu looked deep in thought. "Yeah. It is exactly one week." He smiled.

"And our debut is in exactly 3 weeks." His smiled faded and he looked done at his feet. "Hey! What's wrong?" I sat up from my laying down position and Mingyu sat, on my bed, where my legs just were.

"It just that... after we debut, it will be hard for us to be a couple. We'll be busy with schedules and practices. I feel like we will drift apart because we can't be like a normal couple." Mingyu said while looking at his hands while he played with his fingers.

"Well, first of all, we were never a "normal" couple." Mingyu chuckled at this. "Second, we love each other. Even if we can't be as lovely dovey, I don't think we'll drift apart. Third, if it's just the members, we can still get close in practice." The members didn't know but we could tell them if it made Mingyu feel better.

"But the members don't know about us." Mingyu looked at me.

"Then we'll just have to tell them." I smiled.

Mingyu hugged me. "I love you."

I was shocked. Yes we had been together for almost a year but we had never said those words to each other. Even if we didn't say them, we always knew that was how we felt.

"I love you too." I meant those words.

"I was going to wait and tell you next week on our date, but now seemed like a better time." We both laughed and broke our hug.

"Wait, date?" Mingyu hadn't asked me about going out so I thought he had forgotten.

"That was what I came in here to ask you. Will you go on a date with me for our one year anniversary exactly one week for today?" Mingyu asked.

"Ne!" I said and nodded my head with a huge smile on my face. "Where are we going and what are we doing? I want to know how to dress."

"Surprise!" He said and I pouted. "Dress... up causal."

I sighed "Ok."

Mingyu kissed my cheek and left the room.

I layed back down on my bed.

I really do love him.

So this is my new Seventeen Meanie fan fiction. Honesty, Meanie is my life. I will still be continuing my JRen fan fiction, it's just that, I have no clue where that story is going whereas I do know where this one is going.

I'm also planning on making other stories of other Seventeen ships that will happened along the same time line.
