Amitsukami

To test the limits of my own power: Kota vs Phanum Nail

My next idea was to go get training from someone. With my connections being leader of Amitsukami I managed to find a few sparring partners to test me. Gant, the Iron Giant. As the name suggests hes basically a mountain of a man who stands over 8ft tall. Leila, De La'farian, a shadow dancer who specialises in manipulating her own shadow and one of the Calligula brothers, Baura Calligula, user of the man beast style and only speaks in "Bau" or "Baura".

"Im still not convinced a guy like you is Amitsukamis newest leader. I heard the rumours that our old leader left you in charge but I couldnt believe it. A little brat like yourself, and so young as well. Youre like a baby mole. Small and not a hint of body hair on you." says Gant who eagerly looks to outshine everyone in getting to run his mouth first.

"You dont respect me. I get it. Everybody here doesnt respect me. And youre right to be skeptical. You know me as the boy who hid in his shadow. I was weak once upon a time. But when someone steps out of a shadow like that, one feared by Amitsukami and human alike, it leaves a bad taste to always be chasing the tail end of the dragon dont you think?"

"Im not following boy. If that was meant to say you could fill those shoes then you have a big task ahead of you."

"No... I wont. I cant. Me and him are two different people. As its leader I feel I need to do something to establish myself as more than just his successor to lead it. That is why we are here today. Me, you, Leila and Baura.

"BAURAA!!"

"Yeah! Im excited too Baura... do you understand what Im saying?"

"BAURA."

"Thats the spirit. Ok then, Im sure everyone already knows what to do?"

As I say that I feel something grab my leg. Upon looking down I see nothing but Im hoisted up into the air. Gant then leaps off the floor bringing down his massive forearms into my face and sending me blitzing through the air and into the direction of the ground. 

Managing to catch myself with my hands I leap off the floor and try to go back into a standing position but Baura trips me with his tail before I can regain my composure and tries for a swing. As I try to dodge I feel that invisible force again interfering but this time to hold my head in place for Baura to land a solid punch that sends me flying into the wall behind me.

Before I can even catch my breath fully Gant grabs me through the rubble and tosses me out into the open, making sure to keep me off the floor. Baura then locks onto me and opens his mouth as far as it can stretch and fires a ball of energy from his mouth that catches me flush against the shoulder and sends me spinning off and completely changing my trajectory to where I feel something trying to force its way through my spine with a punch and then a quick left and right to my face and throat before pulling me towards it and then slamming me and holding me by the throat.

I try clawing at it but I cant manage to and use my legs to arch myself into a bridge to catch it just enough off balance to lock my leg around one of its arms and wrestle it down. I try punching it a few times but without knowing where its head is or at least assuming its human at all. The presence then disappears and I no longer have my leg hovering in midair.

"I noticed you arent using any of your abilities or even your eye for that matter. Do you think you can beat us with sheer willpower alone? Or do you think we are not strong enough to handle your Amitsukami?" a pissed Leila says. 

"Im handicapping myself. Seeing how far or how long my own body can withstand before relying on him. Dont consider it an insult but more a buildup to the main event. One where we test if I can actually revert back to myself when Im forced into a corner.
