I turned on the TV and switched the channel to watch the news.
I fiddled with the heart-shaped locket that my boyfriend Thomas Sangster gave me when we first started dating three years ago.
He made me feel so happy and special every time I'm around him.
"So," the news woman started. " I heard that the latest gossip is the that the actor Thomas Sangster is with another girl."
My eyes widen as I listen to the news woman.
"Here are some pictures of what seems to be Thomas and the other girl at Starbucks."
A picture showed up of what looked like Thomas kissing this blonde girl. A blonde girl who wasn't me.
I turned off the TV and texted Thomas.
Me: It's over. We are done.
Thomas😘: what are you talking about Katie-bug?
I didn't answer after that.
I blocked his number and cried myself to sleep.

The next morning I didn't get up until 1:00.
Once I did get up, I went I it the living room and turned on the TV.
"Yesterday we found out that those pictures of Thomas with another girl are fake and it was really his cousin. Sorry for the confusion folks."
Realizing my mistake, I quickly got dressed and drove over to Thomas's house.
I only had to knock once and Thomas opened the door.
His eyes were red a puffy, like he had been crying and his hair was sticking out all over the place.
"Thomas, I am so sorry. I saw these pictures on the news of you kissing another girl but it turns out it was just your cousin and so what I'm trying to do is-"
His lips crashed into mine and fireworks erupted in my stomach.
"I forgive you." He said once you stopped.
