But I flew too high ❞

"SOMEONE PINCH ME, I think I'm dreaming. . .or maybe having another nightmare. I can't tell yet."
Dean turned around and opened the door that he, Sam, and Birdie had just entered, hoping it would lead back outside of the warehouse they'd gone inside in search of the Trickster. Instead it led to a janitor's closet where a man and a woman were making out. They didn't seem to hear the door open, or if they did, they simply didn't care that they'd been discovered. Dean quickly closed the door, a hint of panic on his face as he looked back at Sam and Birdie.
"What the fuck is going on?" Sam asked, looking down at his appearance again.
He and Dean were both wearing dark blue scrubs and white lab coats⎯⎯⎯doctor attire. Birdie wore purple scrubs, a shiny stethoscope hung around her neck. Her blonde hair was pulled up into a bun, keeping it out of her face. She checked her pockets, discovering she didn't have her phone nor any of her daggers or her gun on her. The only things in her pockets were Dora the Explorer and Clifford the Big Red Dog stickers, a pen, a gum wrapper, and a few unopened band aids. She didn't like that those were the only things she had. It felt like she was suddenly naked without some kind of weapon on her. Surely, though, it had to be the Tricksters doing.
It had to be.
Who else could create a real life Incredible Hulk and have him take a man with anger issues? The police said it was a bear attack no matter how strange it was, but the victim's wife stuck by her claim it was the Hulk who took her husband's life. Sam also found a handful of empty candy wrappers at the crime scene, something a Trickster couldn't resist.
She wasn't fond of the idea of trying to find him after what happened the last time they dealt with the Trickster when she had to witness Dean die over and over again⎯⎯⎯the Trickster's twisted way of trying to convince Sam, and Birdie, that Dean was inevitably going to die and they couldn't do anything prevent it.
Now standing in a brightly lit hospital which should've been a worn down warehouse with police piled inside to investigate a strange disturbance⎯⎯⎯as the police scanner they were listening in on had called in⎯⎯⎯left an uneasy feeling in Birdie's stomach.
A brunette doctor, who bore a remarkable resemblance to Dr. Piccolo from Dr. Sexy, MD, turned away from the receptionist's desk and approached the trio. Birdie furrowed her brows together, examining the woman's features the closer she got. No, it couldn't be her.
