Kira POV
"Let's get going. We might grab attention that we don't need. It better if we stay hidden. We're almost by the trees so we should be fine"
"Sir what gonna happen to us?? Are we gonna survive this?? Are we gonna die in vain??!!"
"Stop asking stupid questions!!! Does it look like I know!! I'm not even sure myself. If something happen to me make sure you grow stronger start working as a team!! I want you guys to live!!"
"Yes sir!!!!"
As we got to the trees, titans were coming from every directions as if they were waiting to ambush. Something was odd here. They're stupid , how can they make up a plan to ambush us??
"Head to the trees!!!"
With my 3DMG, I landed on a branch looking down on the creatures. We were surrounded, we have no chance in making it out alive.
"Captain what should we do!! Were surrounded!! Should we signal for back up?!!"
"No just get to higher ground and travel, if we call for back up we might make more lives be in vain. We have to handle th........."
There was a figure. A figure with a hoodie standing right below the titans. Titan were just ignoring him as if he wasn't even there. Then he started climbing the titans and then onto a branch. We were face to face, he was quite old, probably in his mid 30's he had a beard and emerald eyes.
"Who are you!??"
"Mmmm" He smirked
"I believe your one of humanity strongest soldier."
I glared at him, "How do you know this??!!! Who are you excalty?!!"
He ignored my questions and went straight towards my comrades, attacking them one my one.
"Leave them be!!!"
I went forward but he cut my stomach all the way to my leg making me unable to move. David and Johnathan were injured they were slowly going unconcious.
"Lily!!! Brian!!! Report this to the commander!!!"
"But......."
"Just go!!! I'll be fine!!!"
They nodded with worried look in their eyes and left, leaving me alone with this creep. Even if they stayed, they had no chance against him. His speed is incredible, strength is out of the charts He smirked again and looked my way. He slowly started making his way towards me.
"I'm guessing you're Kira Hayashi. Am I right??"
I glared at him. "Creep. What do you want with me??!!"
He laughed, "I use to watch you everyday turning into a wonderful soilder."
"Huh? What do you mean??"
"I was part of the expedition until I faked my death."
I glared at him, how can he survive this long?? I was losing sight, losing too much blood quickly. If this keeps going I have no chance against him.
I'll just have to buy time for them to get away.
"Go on sleep. I'll keep you safe. Actually more then safe If you ask me"
"Get away. You don't know what I'm capable of you old creep!"
He started walking towards me, with a pair of cuffs and a............Necklace?
I stood up and got in a fighting stance, trying my best to put all my weight on my good leg. If I can't stop him, how the hell can my squad can? I should of trained harder... Who the heck is this guy???
My vision began to be a blur,, my legs were giving in. Dammm it. What does he have that I don't!??
Then darkness came over.
