I had been hiding between two trash cans.

I haven't heard the people pass by so I was still silent waiting for Beau to call or text to ask where I was.

These fifteen minutes of my life have gotten me to think about my life.

I haven't really done anything To have memories of. That's kind of sad.

Beau:
Answer me! Where are you?

To Beau:
I'm across from a subway in a alleyway, only place I could hide

Beau:
I'll be there in a minute, don't move.

A few seconds past and a car stopped right between the two stores.

I walked out and looked at the car.

The passengers door opened.

"Come on" I heard him whisper.

I ran to the car and closed the door quickly.

"Drive fast please" I mumbled.

I for some reason was scared for my life.

There's many things I haven't done. Like, well now that I think about it I haven't done shit with my life.

"Ellie? Are you okay?" Beau asked.

"Yeah" I slightly smiled at him.

"Who were they?" He asked.

"I'm not sure but I think they have something to do with Chris" I said worriedly.

"We need to tell the cops"

"No!" I quickly said.

"Well, I'll tell Luke and see what he suggests"

"No! It's late a night and I don't want him to be bothered"

"It's okay, he wouldn't care"

"He wouldn't care, exactly. So why call him" I said.

"No! That's not what I meant, I meant it as he wouldn't care if I called him right now. He does care about you" he said.

"I doubt, he never did and he never will" I looked up ahead looking at the surrounding.

"Beau?" I panicked. "Where are we?" I asked obviously not recognizing my surroundings.

"Don't worry, I'm taking you to my condo so you're safe. It's a private neighborhood so they can't get in without someone letting them in"

"Beau you don't have to, I rather go home" I felt uncomfortable.

"Nonsense" he stopped his care in front of a condo.

"Wow! This place is beautiful" I said in awe.

"Thanks, I really like this neighborhood because it's very peaceful" he said getting out of the car.

I did as well.

"I can tell" I smiled.

"It's different from where we used to live, all loud and trash all over the place" he said.

"Yeah, that's were we met" I said awkwardly.

"Why did you move out of that town anyways?" He asked.

"I," I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly. Trying to figure out what to say. I can't say 'I couldn't afford it'

"You?" He asked.

"I wanted change" I answered half being honest.

"But why did you move to that neighborhood? That's a very dangerous place" he said.
