Chapter 8

Hey guys! Sorry it's taken me so long to write!!! Here it is!!!

Luke's P.O.V.

Alex and Star ran around in the ankle deep water with shovels and buckets splashing each other and digging up wet sand on the very windy beach. It's so much fun to watch them. They giggled and played, just like two completely normal sisters.

I couldn't help but smile at them.

Suddenly, as Star was waddling over toward her bucket of water, she slipped and face planted in the sand. I jumped up, figuring she was hurt, but she looked up, face covered in sand, and giggled. I sat back down, surprised that didn't hurt.

"Hey!" Liam said as he sat down next to me in the sand, I looked over at him and smiled

"Hey!"

"Um we have a slight problem" he said looking over at Alex trying to help Starlin swim

"What?" I asked scrunching my eyebrows, dropping my smile and looking at him

"Management called" he started looking over at me "they moved the tour up... we leave in 2 weeks" he said

"D-" I started

"Children" Liam said cutting me off

"Darn it" I said clenching my jaw

"Ya..." Liam said watching Star and Alex splash around in the water

"Guessing you already told the others?" I said still processing

"Ya...don't bring the girls in any time soon it's a mess in there" he said chuckling

"I'm not think they will ever want to leave" I said laughing along with him. We sat in silence for a few minutes just watching the girls until Liam hauled himself to his feet

"I'm gonna go help them clean up" he said patting my shoulder and heading back to the house. I continued to watch Star and Alex until I got bored and hot. I stood up and grabbed the bottom of my shirt and pulled it over my head then took off my shoes and socks. I took my phone and wallet out of my pockets and set them down next to my shirt

I sprinted out to the water and jumped in next to the girls, splashing them. They squealed and screamed. I grabbed Starlin and held her up above my head. She giggled and put one finger in her mouth. I smiled and kissed her forehead before putting her back in the water

Alex started slapping water at me, since I splashed them, and Star decided to join in on the fun. I splashed them back, and it turned into an all out war. Both of them were trying to pretty much drown me in water! I wiped water out of my eyes and opened them, just to see Alex running at me in the shallow water to tackle me. She hit me and I toppled over, her along with me, seeing as she had her arms wrapped around me. We all started laughing

"Hey! Do you want to build a sandcastle?" I asked them

"What a sandcasaw?" Star asked me, both her and Alex wearing equal looks of confusion

"You've never built a sandcastle before?" I asked

They both shook their heads 'no'

"Well, I guess I'll just have to teach you then!" I said, standing up, "Come on!" I walked over the chest of beach toys that we'd just put together this week, and sat down on the beach just outside of the tide's reach, where the sand is still wet

"Okay," I said, "You use these molds to make a castle out of sand, ok? You have to use this sand that's wet so it doesn't fall apart." They both looked at me with confused faces, completely not understanding what I was saying
