"Sir Ragnar, why are you here? And who is this kid that you are carrying?" A robed woman rushed to Ragnar who was carrying Ean. Ean's eye became dull from the moment he was taken out on the cave. Ragnar felt despair from the kid. It was pleasing his sensation, but at the same time, guilty at what he just did. He was just teasing the boy into making sure that he could walk on after hearing the news. But, it was also insensitive of him. Ean was just a kid, even as a hybrid, he couldn't handle the emotions all too well.

"Mistress Farah, I need you to look into the boy's mind and change his emotions, he is in danger." Ragnar pointed out in a hurry. He looked at the Farah, who took out her robe to look into the were kid. His skin becoming pale each seconds pass and his eyes, turning dull red from the greyish hue a moment ago.

Farah instructed Ragnar to lay Ean at the canopy and make sure that he was comfortable. After setting all up and preparing herself, Farah put her hands on Eans forehead and then slowly closed her eyes.

They were at the position for hours and Ragnar could even disturb the two, even with the verdant shades from the trees above, all he can do is look at the two lives, battle with each other's mental link.

He felt people coming closer as they inspect what is happening. He felt some mental intrusions from the people, they were curious. But soon retreaded from the link as soon as they understood the situation. Sometimes, those people would talk to him via mental link, and he tried his best to keep them from entering Farah's mind.

Is the kid alright?

Why does that kid need our chief's help?

Why is this Vampire here?

That is the toughts of the others, some are harsh than usual. And after close inspection to the two on the ground, Ragnar felt Farah withdrew her link to Ean. Though, Ean's skin was still pale, his hair says that he was already far from danger.

"Emotions are the very enemy of ones who have power." Farah said as she wear her robes back and turned to her people and gave them a nod. The spectators withdrew and the area was isolated again.

"And that is why, we dispose of our emotions for the very thing that we want." He turned to Farah and offered her a bow.

"Something I knew, since there was two boys who came here to seal their emotions far back." As Ragnar took Ean, Farah signed him to follow her to her village.

As they entered the thick forest, houses of different sizes emerges, most houses are built of wood that was run over by the think vines and roots of the giatnt trees. Some are huts that was built on the air and was supported by the trunks and stems of the trees. It was green all over, and a lone fountain that was covered in dessert stone colored in the middle.

"Don't you think that my late brother's gift was marvelous?" Farah said, Ragnar nodded in agreement as they approach one the stone building that stood out from the rest. It still has it's sun bask clay color to it and plants and molds don't seem to gather in the cracks of the structure.

Ragnar was introduced with a sweet waft in the air as soon as he entered the house. Farah smiled and went to a room on which Ragnar saw as Kitchen, while on the other room, he felt a sensation of fear. And as he looked at it, there were three person on the room.

"Ean!" A girl from the group went towards the boy he was carrying and knew from the start that this must be the people that Ean was grouped before he found him lying on the ground. Ragnar looked at the girl, she was wearing a clothing that looked like a robe that most nigth folks wear when they are out in the battle. But he vaguely remembers because it has been centuries when night folks went to battle, and it was a battle worth remembering.
