Apologies

I paced back and forth, furiously swinging my arms, I turned around and looked her deep in the eyes.

"I know it was you" I scolded

"You haven't got any proof" Paige stated, as she finished her sentence I stopped in my tracks before walking over to the kitchen counter.

I hate when people play this game with me, just be real, you had the balls to do it, so have the balls to own up to your shit.

"Satan, stop playing with me. Cause I swear I will" I raised my voice while I picked up the knife which rested on the kitchen counter confidently.

"I swear I will cut you and trust me, you'll wish you never crossed me bitch" I threatened, sliding over to Paige and running the knife along her neck.

She breathed heavily whilst I teased her with the sharp stainless steel metal.

"I'm classy, but trust and believe I ain't afraid to turn ratchet" I ran the knife along her neck one last time before retracting it from her neck and swinging it dangerously.

Paige scurried away from me and leaned against the kitchen door frame leading to the living room.

"I hope that's the last time you EVER play with me" I warned

Paige began to chuckle.

What the hell is she laughing at?

"Did you hear what you just said?" She asked still chuckling.

"Do you really think now is the time to be laughing? Get out of my sight hoe" I yelled

I placed the knife back into its container and strutted out of the kitchen into the living room.

"Yn, you've got a visitor" Madison declared

I skipped over to the door merrily, Madison moved aside and to my surprise Joshua was standing there, I looked him up and down and turned my attention to Madison.

"Can you get my key Madison?" I asked politely

She hooked my bag on to my arm cautiously.

"I thought I should just bring the whole thing, I know how you are" Madison stated

I thanked her and moved Joshua out of the way so I could step out into the hallway and close my door.

I'm on the verge on snapping and just crawling under a rock, for real.

"What are you doing here?" I questioned him, I didn't know whether to be mad or content with his appearance.

"I needed to see you, when you left we were on bad terms and I couldn't handle that" he admitted

Cause you were a jerk... Blame yourself for that one.

"As sweet as that is, you can't just show up at my school, you could've at least called" I explained whilst pushing him into the corner out of sight from everyone else in the hallway

"I did call, cause I knew you was going to say that, but that's not the point Yn, the point is I missed you, I'm sorry for accusing you of cheating, I just didn't know what to think at the time" Joshua confessed before stroking my cheek with his hand.

"You know me better than that" I said as I removed his hand from my face, I shook my head and looked to my right with my arms crossed.

"I know, that's why I came all the way here"

I stayed silent and continued to look in the other direction.

La, la, la...

"Can you just get over it Yn?" Joshua inquired, pulling my arms free of each other and making me face him.

"Fine" I said whilst faking a smile

"I'm not stupid, I know what fine means and I know you didn't just fake smile at me" he responded

I laughed at him a little before my straight face returned.

"I forgive you, but I dare you to try that with me again" I replied in a jokey manner but I was dead serious

He stepped forward and leaned over slightly, he planted a kiss on my forehead and then my lips.

"So are you going now?" I asked peering up at him.

His soft hands grazed against my cheeks as he pulled me in for a passionate kiss.

"Nah uh, you haven't earned that privilege back yet" I snapped, removing his hands off of my face

"Oh okay"

I raised my eyebrow at him as he smirked, I could tell he wasn't going to listen to a thing I said, before I knew it our lips were dancing in sync with each other.

"No more" I pleaded in between kisses

My body craved him yet I managed to stay focused, hesitantly I pushed him away from me so I could speak.

"You need to get out of here, I'm coming home in two days"

"Can I pick you up?" He whined whilst fiddling with my fingers.

"Yes, yes now go before anyone sees you" I whispered, shoving him towards the nearby exit.

"Yn!" Tiana hollered as she waved from across the hall

Tiana approached me whilst looking around curiously.

"Hm, I saw that boy you was with. He was looking fineeeeee" Tiana cheered

"Yeah, that's my boyfriend" I boasted, whilst playing with my hair that hung down amidst my chest

"Oh, I didn't mean to-

"Yeah, it's fine, don't worry about it okay?" I told her as I put my key into my dorm door.

"I'll see you in class in an hour" she said as she dismissed herself from the awkward conversation.

I stumbled into my dorm, which looked as if it had been cleaned drastically, I made my way to my bedroom to see that everything was put into its rightful position, I put my hands together in a praying motion and thanked the Lord, as I opened my eyes a piece of paper on my dresser caught my attention. I swiped it up and read it in my head.

Dear Yn,

I would just like to start off by saying sorry for the mess when you arrived, it wasn't in our intentions to irritate you. We was having a rough time, I guess we should've explained.

But in despite of that, I hope you enjoy the rest of the year with us as we've grown to like your down to earth personality.

I, Paige am sorry for last night, I don't know what came over me, but it doesn't matter I just want to apologise. All I wanted was revenge and it wasn't worth it. You're a nice girl, I guess.

"So you read the letter?" Paige asked from my doorway.

I span on my heels to come face to face with Madison and Paige, who were grinning ever so slightly.

"Yes, I read it. I will give you guys a chance. Just clean up after yourselves in the near future" I demanded forgivingly
