Chapter - 36

The cold early morning wind of the sea
entered the room causing HIS LADY LOVE to
snuggle in him more and more. He even in
sleep covered her securely. But HIS beauty
sleep disturbed due to constant vibration of
cell phone. He unwillingly opened his eyes
just to see her angelic face. He smiled and
picked up his phone. It was just 6 am
and the caller ID was of his Mom. He
carefully sneaked out of the bed so that her
sleep don't get disturbed although he
wanted to sleep more but he decided to
continue with this later first he had to talk to
Nayonika.
"Good Morning Mom..!!"Manik answered the
call.
"Good Morning meri jaan..!!"He heard
Nayonika's ever loving voice. "Hows
Nandini..!!"
"Yeah she is much better now..! But still I
think she needs time..!!"Manik said in a low
voice sitting on the balcony floor.
"I wish wo jaldi say theek ho jye..!! Manik
myny kuch socha hai..!!"Nayonika said
hesitantly.
"G Mom..!! Bolain?"Manik asked curiously.
"Manik..!! I think you should marry Nandini
as soon as possible..!!"She again said
hesitantly. "So that she don't felt herself
lonely.!!" Hearing Nayonika's words Manik
sighed in relief.
"Mom..!! I wanted to tell you that I already
have taken vows with Nandini..!! And that
sindoor thing too..!! I am sorry but at that
time I had no other option...!!"Manik told
Nayonika slowly everything.
"Hmmm..!!Ok..!! I am not angry with you..!!
You took the right decision..!! But still our so
cold society wants a perfect marriage..!! So
we have to do it..!"Nayonika said wisely.
"I know..!! But Mom what about Nandini's
bhai and bhabhi? Don't you think they have
right on Nandini..!! And moreover we
should tell them the truth?"Manik said in a
low voice.
"You are right..!! I think I myself should go
to Manglore and talk with her
family?"Nayonika suggested.
"That will be better..!!"Manik said happily.
"Till then you just stay there..!! There is a lot
of buzz around..!! Media ko handle karna is
not easy..!! As many people in the holi party
witnessed the fight between you and
Rahul..!! So media is constantly bugging
me..!! I don't want you and Nandini to be
here..!! I don't want Nandini to get involved
in all this..!! That poor soul has already
suffered a lot..!!" Nayonika said
determinedly.
"Ok Mom..!!"Manik said obediently.
"I will go to Manglore today..!! Jab tak main
na kahoon tum wapas na ana..!!" Nayonika
said with all her motherly affection.

Nandini..!!"Manik said emotionally.

weak..!!"Nayonika said lovingly.
"Yes Mom..!! I will take care of her..!!"Manik
said nodding his head.
"Bye Mom ki jaan..!! Jab Nandini jagy tou
meri baat zaroor karwa daina..!! And yes
Angela is missing you both..!! So aj main
driver kay sth us ko bhaij doon ge...!! You
need anything?"Nayonika said
affectionately.
"Ni Mom kuch nahi chye..!! Main ap ki baat
karwa doon ga..!! Take care..! Bye..!!"Manik
cut the call.
"Manik..!! Manik tum kahan ho?"He heard
Nandini's worried voice.
"I am here Love..!! In the balcony..!! Don't
step down the bed..!!"Manik shouted from
the balcony and got up. He entered the room
and saw Nandini sitting on the bed with
worried expressions. Manik walked towards
her and sat beside her.
"Why are you so worried?"Manik asked
kissing her temple. She side hugged him and
rested her head on his heart.
"I thought that it was a dream..!! Because
you were not there na..!! Bus aisy he I got
worried..!!"Nandini said in a low tone and
Manik smiled.
"No it wasn't a dream..!! Everything was
real..!! The relation between us is
real..!!"Manik whispered lovingly.
"Manik..!!"Nandini whispered.
"Hmm..!!"Manik said looking at her.
"I love you so much..!!"Nandini said
lovingly.
"I love you more..!! And why are you up
haan? Chalo sleep..!!"Manik said in a serious
tone. He himself got up,made her lay down
the bed and tucked her in blanket.
"Manik..!! Tum bhi so jaoa na
please...!!"Nandini said holding his hand.
"Coming..!!"Manik said softly and freed his
hand from her grip. Then he settled the
curtains of the windows so that sunrays
don't disturb their sleep. Not for once
Nandini take her eyes off from Manik.
Manik was unsure what she was thinking
but he very well knew she was thinking of
him. After that he laid down beside her and
slid under the covers. Nandini placed her
chin over his chest and smiled. Manik tucked
a strand behind her ears and raised his
eyebrows to ask what?
"So..!! What are you staring at hmm?"Manik
asked touching her nose.
"Ummm..!! I am staring at my
husband..!!"Nandini said lovingly.
"Hmm...!! That's good..!!"Manik said
naughtily and pull her for a kiss. After
feeling her breathless he broke the kiss and
hugged her tightly. As they both were tired
to they again drifted to sleep.

Nandini was getting really very bored. First
she was playing with Angela Nayonika's
driver had delivered her but eventually she
became bore. She walked towards Manik.
"Manik..!! Aur kitna time hai?"Nandini asked
for the thousand time from Manik. Actually
Manik was hell engrossed in reading a
very interesting Novel. He was just in his
tracks lying on his stomach and Nandini was
completely lying over him.
"Shhh Nandini...!! Bohat important twist aya
hai..!!"Manik shushed her and again got
busy in the reading the novel. Nandini
sighed and started running her fingers in
his hair,she traced her fingers on his
dashing eagle Tattoo ,then she kissed over it.
"Stop distracting..!!"Manik said in a serious
tone and she made a bad face.
"Tum bohat boring ho..!!"She complained
patting his head.
"I know..!! Actually jab last time aya tha
main tou tab bhi incomplete reh gya
tha..!!"Manik said in a serious tone.
"Last time kis kay sth aye thy?"Nandini
asked curiously and Manik smiled evilly. He
decided to tease her.
"Ummm..!! The koi..!!"Manik said playfully
and Nandini frowned.
"Kon?"She asked in a serious tone.
"Someone special..!!"Manik said naughtily.
Nandini didn't said anything,she quietly got
up over him and walked towards the
balcony. Manik bite his tongue between his
teeth. "Manik kuch ziada ho gya..!! Khoty..!!
Naraz ho gai na wo..! Kya zarorat the
efficiency marny ki..!!"Manik mentally
scolded himself and closed his novel. He too
walked towards the balcony and saw her
standing with the balcony railing looking at
the rise and fall of tides. Manik smiled at her
cute figure. She was looking so cute just in
his shirt and due to sea wind her silky
tresses were disturbing her eyes as she was
carelessly shoving them away, her face was
expressionless. Taking slow steps he reached
her,encircling his arms around her slim
waist he placed his chin on her shoulders.
