Brooklyn is New York City's most populous borough and the second largest in the area. Like Manhattan, Brooklyn is made up of neighborhoods -- each with their own culture and history. It is home to many great restaurants, shops and cultural institutions, making it a wonderful place to visit when you come to New York City.

I obviously Googled it as I have no idea about this town. I also searched about the places I should visit in Brooklyn. But first of all, I have to find an Indian restaurant. Yup, I wanted Indian food. So, using Google once again, I searched up the best Indian places in Brooklyn. I found Gandhi Fine Indian Cuisine on Bedford Avenue, as well as its directions.

Suddenly, my phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I began without checking caller ID.

"Hey, you stupid nuts." Mahi giggled on the other line.

Ah! Mahi and her weird names.

"Stupid nuts? Seriously Mahi? And why are you calling me this time?"

I asked while glancing at my watch.

"What do you mean?' It must be morning there," Mahi said.

"Yeah, here it is, but over there, it's midnight. Why are you calling so late? What's wrong?" I asked concerned.

"Umm, I was missing you," she whispered, "And I thought I should call you earlier but then remembered the time distance."

"You can call me anytime silly, and I'm missing you too," I pressed my lips together, truly meaning everything I said.

I really did miss her.

"Yeah, and that's the reason why you haven't been online," she sounded slightly angry.

Shit!

"Oh, I forgot, wait I'm coming," I replied in a rush tone.

"No wa-"

I hung up before I could hear anything else, then logged onto Skype and found her already online. I clicked on the green button to call her.

"Hey," I greeted her once again.

"You hung up on me," she huffed, faking her anger.

She wasn't very good at it, which made me chuckle slightly.

"I didn't have choice." I smirked.

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes.

"Anyways, what's up? Have you talked to your dad?" I asked.

She suddenly gave me her hundred-watt smile, forgetting everything.

"Yeah, I did, and you know what? I love you so much, Jazz . . . I don't know why I hadn't tried it before . . . I should have at least asked. They are not that bad as I thought," she said making a face. "Maybe I was just scared . . ."
