"Shirley"

You slept soundly, mouth opened a centimeter so you could breath. You had one hand on your stomach and the other resting beside you on the slightly wet grass. Your head was resting on the side, some of your [thick/thin] (hair colour) locks on your cheek. You were waiting for your Australian Crocodile carrying boyfriend, but found the peaceful hill too comfortable to resist. So you fell asleep after laying down, finding the fresh and slightly damp grass comfortable.

Soon, your Australian accented boyfriend arrived, trusty Crocodile on his back. He blinked when he saw you, setting Shirley down before moving towards you, seeing you asleep with a peaceful face. He smiled lightly and decided to lay down next to you, looking at your face quietly as Shirley made her way towards the two. She looked down at you and rested her head on your side, making you stir slightly. Your eyes fluttered open, exposing [dark/light] (eye colour) eyes. You blinked multiple times until your vision focused on the face of your boyfriend.

You smiled warmly and looked down, seeing the large green head of the female Crocodile. She moved her head and bumped your hand, making you lift your arm for her to nuzzle her head there. You chuckled quietly and placed your arm on top of her neck, looking back up at your Australian boyfriend.

"Sorry for falling asleep, Jim. It's just so quiet here compared to the Academy." You murmured, watching him shake his head lightly.

"It's fine, darling. It's better than you leaving." He replied, leaning down to kiss your nose. You scrunched your face and pouted, making Jim chuckle. You whined lightly and scooted closer to the Australian, wrapping your arms around him while burying your face into his chest. He chuckled again and wrapped his arms around you as well, getting a look from his Crocodile. He rolled his eye and nuzzled you, earning another whine. Soon, Shirley grew jealous of the attention you were giving Jim. Why does he get affection and not her? She moved back and bite the back of your Ra Yellow jacket, yanking you back.

Both you and Jim blinked in surprise as Shirley dragged you back and rolled you over, laying down on top of you. You struggled underneath her weight, but squirmed enough for your chest to be free. Shirley laid her head down onto your chest, not moving when your tried to wiggle out from underneath her. Jim, meanwhile, was above Shirley, trying to pull the stubborn Crocodile off of you.

"Come on, Shirley. Get off of (Name)." Jim said, pulling the Crocodile up slightly. She growled and forced herself out of his grip, flopping back down onto you. You coughed when the air was forced out of your lungs and struggled to get Shirley off of you as well. Shirley growled again and remained on top of you, not wanting to leave you until she got your full attention.

~Small Timeskip~

You sat, covered in dirt and grass stains next to an equally dirt and grass stained Jim. The two of you decided it was a good idea to wrestle Shirley off of you, resulting in getting driven into the ground a few times. The two of you finally got her off after you decided to give her attention. She sat, laying across the both of your laps with a content look in her eyes. You were petting her head, Jim petting her back.

She glanced at the both of you once and awhile, making sure she had your full attention. After she looked away, you quickly whispered to Jim.

"This is the strangest Family I've ever been in, I love it." You whispered, pecking Jim's lips quickly before kissing Shirley's head. Jim watched, a smile on his lips.

"It may be strange, but it's at least happy." Jim whispered back to you, kissing your cheek when you sat back up.
